Taqueria Carolina — Restaurant in Modesto

First time a few weeks was awesome food was great and staff was friendly!!!! Went there for a second time at night and staff was rude even had to tell the girl and she just didn’t care . Was trying to order first girl Helped me got pulled away and didn’t tell me excuse me for a second just walked away and then the other girl came and helped. Placed my order over almost 100 dollars which i could of took my business somewhere else. Charge Tommy debit card and noticed they charged almost 3 dollars to use my card . There is no sign anywhere and the cashier didn’t even inform me about the charge. I suggested to her she said state or or at least have signs around the debit machine and she shrugged her shoulders and didn’t care . I will never be going back so unprofessional!!!! Oh btw they need to update there prices on there website . In store double the price then what they state online...

Came here because was told food was great. From the start things were horrible. The girl at the counter knew nothing about the food or what it comes with or if was able to come in a combo plate. On the outside window said quesabirria, so ordered that, couldn't get it in a combo. With falutas she asked how many I wanted in my combo, never seen those alacart before... along with a horchata fountain drink and chips/salsa. Drink has no ice even though I asked for it. Chips were burnt and had a bad taste. When my quesabirria arrived they looked like quesadillas, never seen them prepared this way ever, although did have good taste, the flautas were not good and smallest i ever seen! Music was on static the entire time they didn't seem to care what customers were listening to and lights were constantly flashing off and on. Disappointed...

This restaurant usually makes great food but the day I treated my Aunt they kinda failed at their craft. My aunt ordered a Chile Releno and it was tiny, made with small pabloano peppers and had bread inside instead of cheese? Both my burrito and her food had way to much Salt in them, my Aunt for the first time in her life gad to order something else entirety, the waitress was kind however. I believe the Cook was having an off day? Or maybe it's not the usual cook. 🤔 Edit 1/24/23: Came to order buy no matter what I tried to get, it was all 18, 19 bucks . For a simple combo plate for 1 .. in what age do we live in that a combo plate for 1 costs roughly 20 bucks!? It was 2 tacos and 1 enchilada with a drink not a diamond man! Anyways, thanks to that price hike I took off without ordering anything and...
