Subway — Restaurant in Mokena

Apparently the manager at this particular location believes pickle juice should be drained out of all the pickles as well as a gardinara should have no oil. Who does this? Also this goes for the olives. Never seen such a hot mess in my life. The staff working there are extremely accommodating and explained everything to us. Never ever in 52 years of life in Illinois gardinara without oil. And pickles not sitting in pickle juice. Whatever logic this is is not how you run a business much less one that sells food. And this manager from my understanding was born and raised in Chicago just like I was. So that further boggles my mind how they leave the oil out of gardinara. The old lady who seems like training a new guy has no experience with customers. She rushes you with your order, no smile plus the attitude even tho whole place is empty she is also stingy as hell. I stop at Subway every other day to grab a quick sandwich. I have never seen a place where they barely put anything in the bread even the sauce, if she could she probably would do raindrops with sauce lol. Also bread was old which I'm used to from other subways but this one was already become plastic. U just chew it and pray your stomach can melt it. I walk in and nobody greeted me. I am an african american male. But the next 3 to four customers that come in behind me were all greeted and they were all white. Ok no big deal. But I'm at the counter and an employee, female, short hair and glasses, ask was i ordering a sandwich. I said yes. Then she pointed to the back of the line and said "line starts back there."
