Order accuracy is not high on Jersey Mike's list.
My grandparents were regulars at this establishment when it first opened. I started picking up their sandwiches for them because the music became too loud and they were not able to hear the employees.
The problems started when their orders became customized. My grandma's Number Nine became "No bacon, no mayo, no cheese." My grandpa's #2 was easier, he wanted it Mike's Way with no juice. I had to repeat the order 3 times. And after the employees asked me a 4th time, I went to pay.
The kids there were very rude and acted like my order had burdened them a great deal due to the apparent complexity of it all...
I drove an hour away to my grandparents to find out their sandwiches were messed up. My grandpa's sub was soggy and the bread was flat and wet. I used to work at McDonald's and we had a screen to read the orders. I think you need one of those or something.
This was the straw that broke the camel's back because...well..we gave you several chances to redeem yourselves. Yet time and time again the orders are messed up.
I contacted their Customer Service at corporate and was told that Jersey Mike's does not have an ordering system to ensure accuracy. So if you do not:
1)Watch like a hawk 2)Repeat yourself 100 times 3) Order exactly what the menu says,
-Expect your sandwich to be messed up.
I received an apology and free sub, but it is too little too late.
The employees need to be nicer, and pay attention to accuracy....
Read moreI frequent Jersey Mike’s probably a minimum of three plus times a month. I always get it to go and one of my favorite things is tuna in a tub with provolone. Your awesome workers always roll the cheese on wax paper and cut it up. Last week the cheese was thrown on top and not cut. So I asked the gal behind the counter to cut up the provolone and she took the cheese and laid it on the dirty counter full of bread crumbs (I’m gluten intolerant) and cut it up and threw it over my tuna salad. I’ll admit I was pretty grossed out and did not eat the cheese for 2 obvious reasons. So this week I mentioned what happened to a different worker and asked if they could cut it up on a piece of wax paper like usual. I was told no problem, but rest assured their counters were frequently cleaned. So this may be ticky tacky to some people but this should never be a reason to not take appropriate measures. So I’m supposed to eat cheese that’s now touched cleaning products and rolled in bread crumbs? This should be a standards protocol in my opinion. I’m still a fan but needed to share my experience. Thanks for...

When Jersey Mike's first came to Moline, their sandwiches were sooooo good! Fresh ingredients and fresh bread. The people were super nice and all was good in the Moline neighborhood!
After about a year of opening, it started on a slow downhill trot. It was kind of like sitting in a pool and then someone turning the temp up so it boils. You're sitting there at first like this is great! As time goes on you're like what did I get myself into this time? It's getting hot in herrrrr....
Anyway fast forward to this past weekend. I ordered a couple of sub sammy's. The ingredients didn't taste that great. Maybe it's because I had to take a chainsaw to the bread! It's like they went the way of the franchise that must not be named! cough Subway *cough
I'll wait a while before ordering from there again. However I don't think it was a one off. It has slowly gotten worse over time and I don't think even Scooby and Shaggy and gang can thwart the evil throes...
