Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Moncks Corner

22 year old brown woman here. I was RACIALLY PROFILED and NOT treated like a Human Being. The woman would not even look me in the eyes and only spoke to me as she was walking away from me and very quietly. I understood she was very busy and I just wanted to be polite. But I noticed she communicated very respectfully and friendly to another customer. She just kept repeating to me "accept the order accept the order accept the order". 6+ times. That was the only thing she had said to me. I set my phone down on the counter just so that she could see what I was doing. My phone was loading very slowly. But I was trying to accept the order. I was just shocked to be treated that way. I was just doing a doordash to pay for my tuition. I train as a medical student during the day. And would never communicate with any of my patients this way. Maybe she thought I was going to take the order. But doordash does a good job of preventing that. I was sick to my stomach. I don't think they understand how they make us feel. I walked out of the door so slowly for some reason because I was in genuine shock. I was respectful and I was patient and waited there for 10 minutes. I didn't rush or pressure her...

A few classmates and I wanted some Chinese food. We called ahead because we didn't have time and she continuously cut me off as I was try to place my order. We arrived to the restaurant to pick up our food and I had her repeat back my order for confirmation and she became irritated with me and huffed when I asked to say it. We then waited for our food even though she said it was ready. We got cups for tea and when we tasted the tea, it was old. The pump had dust on it and there was a palmetto bug crawling around the drink machine. When we told her that we disliked the tea and wanted a refund on it, she was hesitant on giving the money back. Worst Chinese resturaunt ever. Went in and ordered general tso chicken with fried rice with shrimp, they give us regular rice. I go back in and ask for the shrimp fried rice instead, lady looks at me and tells me that it'll be $7.70 MORE. Are you kidding me? You got my order wrong and the food is terrible and you really want me to pay $8 MORE?! I just spent $30 on two meals! Didn't even get a drink!! I'll spend $30 at a NICE resturaunt, not some slack, barely-passing, Grade F food. The food was barely even edible. I am 110% DISSATIFIED. And they don't even speak a lick of English!
