Soul Food Plus — Restaurant in Moncks Corner

My husband and I tried Soul Food Plus once and the owner Mr. Gregg, I believe was so nice and professional. We ate and I also bought some items from his hair boutique next door. We do not live in Charleston, we stay in the Myrtle Beach area but frequently come to Charleston to see our children and grandkids or for business purposes. We was in the Charleston area today on business , and upon returning home, we decided to drop in to get something to eat, and I needed s one hair supplies. I was going to buy my items from Amazon and another store, but my husband and I like to patronize our own whenever we have the opportunity to do so. We walked in and there was a short plump lady with short hair sitting at the front. She looked at us, no greeting, nothing. She proceeded to walk from the register to another table and because she didn't acknowledge me or my husband, I told her I needed to ourchase some items out of the hair store next door, she turned around and gave me a nasty look and said "you are going to have to wait a few minutes and turned back around. At that point, my husband said , let's go, I agreed... Who want to walk in any establishment with the intent of spending over $150 to be treated that way. I called back and asked to speak to Mr. Gregg, she a lady answered which I assume was the same lady we encountered minutes ago... she told me that he left for a family emergency and should return on Friday. I asked if she was one of the owners and she said no... my advice... hire people with better customer...

First time ever trying this delicious place. We had a mix up with our order. We made a goof ordering so we tried to cancel and reorder but the first order was already being prepared and couldn't cancel it. Placed a second order to get what we initially wanted while waiting on the first. We got the first order and the food was definitely what I was hankering for! Second order came a short time after and they threw in some extra food just cause of the mix up. It was no fault of there own by no means but they still went above and beyond.
