I have to first share, that this restaurant is in a super creepy town. Old run down town where their hay day had ended a very long time ago. Feliciaâs is indeed a hidden gem, and I highly recommend everyone who enjoys superb Italian food, to try this place. Street parking available with a small parking lot on the opposite side of the road. The restaurant is a boarded up windowed, brick building that I think used to be an Italian community center or lounge. When we entered the restaurant on a Saturday evening about 7:30pm, there was no other dining guests. The menu was fairly simple, homemade gnocchi and raviolis, sandwiches, salads, pizza, appetizers, Italian wedding soup, seafood and steak entrees etc. all reasonably priced for what you get. The eggplant parm dinner was $13.99, with a heaping helping of thinly sliced eggplant, breaded and fried with delicious sauce and cheese, a side salad with house dressing, and spaghetti with sauce. The pasta platter I order included 2 cheese raviolis, 2 meat raviolis, 1 meatball, and probably about 15 gnocchiâs for I think $14.99. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade gnocchiâs and the meatball, and I wanted to lick the sauce off the plate, but I refrained. The other person in our party ordered a large 12 cut pizza with sausage and onions. It was almost last me a deep crust pizza. It was about an inch think and soft, flavorful and had the right amount of toppings. The meal also included bread and butter which we later dipped in the house dressing leftover from our salads. The decor was old school, but was clean and comfortable. Interesting experience, friendly waitress, long wait for food, but worth it, good price, very old school. Needs better advertising. I will remember the meal always and hope to come back...
Read moreMy husbandâs friend took us out for our anniversary dinner. My husband ordered shrimp scampi. I ordered ravioli. His scampi had no garlic in it, only 6 shrimp that were not peeled, and was served on mushy spaghetti noodles. Previously the scampi was served on angel hair pasta. We werenât offered a choice. Also the olive oil tasted like a very cheap oil. The waitress refused to refill our friendâs Pepsi and never refilled our water glasses. She also never checked on our satisfaction with the meal. When it came time to tip, we gave her a 15.5% tip which I thought was generous considering the bad service. She came to the table, picked it up, fanned through the amount, sneared at us and replaced it back on the table. Obviously, she was unhappy. But, the service was not exceptional. Later that day, I became ill, with nausea and a headache and diarrhea that has lasted three days. I havenât eaten anything since just sipping on ginger ale to stay hydrated.I wont say the food was bad, but I have serious concerns. Definitely will not go...
Read moreI dont understand how everyone is going on and on about the delicious food. My Daughter and I read the reviews all sounded great. Glad we live close. Well I can say I dont get it. I ordered the pasta sampler. 2 cheese ravioli 2 beef ravioli and about 10 gnocchi. She got the chicken alfredo. Her sauce tasted like butter no other spices. Mine I brought home to wash off the sauce and and open a jar of prego. My salad was great . My Daughter's wedding soup was ok not great. The store bought bread and butter was the best. Everything was to salty. I gave it one star because I cant give it a zero. There are 2 other Italian restaurants in town that are very very good. But we wanted to try someplace different. ...
