We're new to the area and just tried His place for the first time after recommendation from a close friend! There were so many choices! The ladies were kind, informative, accommodating and patient while we went thru a couple options, which was totally appreciated! I usually like to get larges for my frappes, so I was a tad bit dissapointed that there was only 16oz available for the frozen frappe sizes, however, at least today it seemed enough for me as the frap was rich and filling. I would compare the physical atmosphere to a Starbucks, but much more personal and private cafe like. It seemed upscale, but not at all pretentious. It is housed in the former fire station, so there is indoor/outdoor seating. If you see a flavor not listed on the frozen side, just ask, and if they can make it, they will, but they're in no short supply of options, which I truly loved! Price for a 16oz frozen was 5.50 plus tax, and all of the other drinks were under that it seemed. They have espresso beans you can purchase for an upcharge, which was a neat touch, as well as baked goods, smoothie, milkshake, and fruit flavor refreshers if coffee isn't what you're after or you bring your kiddos. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards program at the end to get perks! I was surprised and pleased that they offered this as a small business. They also close by 2pm and aren't open on Sunday, so try to include them early on in your day if you plan to go. Definitely will revisit His Place and recommend it to others. I plan to take my friends here next time they venture out to the valley!...
Read moreIf i could give more than 5 stars, i would !! Stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop by pure chance, and I am so delighted I did!! By far my new favorite spot to enjoy for a quick little breakfast date. Their flavor options for drinks are absolutely phenomenal! Of course they have the classic favorites, but their variety of custom flavors are well thought out and so creative! The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious! As well as their pastries, which I will also add, I love that they are homemade..(with LOTS of love) !! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and also do a great job at making you feel cared about as a customer by paying attention to the small details. The batista who served my fiance and I today remembered not just our faces, but where we were headed to when we first stumbled upon the shop, and this was only our second time returning. The staffs attitudes make you WANT to return ! The decor inside is SO cute. You can tell that the owner of this place truly cares. I look forward to becoming a...
Read moreBeautiful coffee shop in an old fire station. This shop is run by a non-profit that utilizes the building for community programs like after school tutoring and addiction recovery programs.
That alone would be pretty cool, but their coffee and food are outstanding. One of the largest menus of syrups and customization options I've seen and the drinks are top notch quality. This place puts Starbucks and Dunkin to shame.
Cute touches like games on the tables and a little box to put your phones in that get rewarded with chocolate covered espresso beans if your party all gives up their phones to engage IRL. There's also a "Pay it forward" wall where people can pre-purchase drinks for people by theme or concept. Check it out when you go in, and pick up a drink if there's one suited to you.
Great, friendly staff and lots...
