I heard this place had really good wings and I happen to be hungry and in the area so I stopped in. I was so impressed with the menu It was hard to decide what to order. I did end up getting wings, but they were part of the bbq platter special of the day (6 wings,burnt tips, pulled pork, corn bread, and Mac& cheese as my side. I asked for a bun to make a sandwich with my pulled pork.) everything was delicious. My daughter had the chicken parm sandwich. It was so good. Then my girl had a pasta with a blush sauce I believe and it was amazing also. She also had a salad with house made Italian that I didn’t try but she said it was the best. Being open-minded and adventurous in my culinary tastes, I usually don't post about food because I don't usually find something that renders me speechless.

Our first experience with The Steel Plate was Valentines Day, in which we had no idea that we wouldn't be ordering from a menu because the chef was only focused on perfecting one dish that night. One enormous tomahawk ribeye and a slice of the most decadent homemade cheesecake later, and we were hooked.

Perfect from start to finish! The owner and his staff (including his daughter) were personal, prompt and friendly. The restaurant was immaculate and the food was very good! My girlfriend ordered the Cajun shrimp Alfredo and asked for it to not be too spicy, I ordered the BBQ sampler. Our meal was delivered quickly and it was exactly as ordered. During our meal the owner took the time to stop by and introduce himself, very pleasant and upbeat! As we were finishing, he stopped by and chatted with us for a while, sharing the story of how his restaurant came to be. While we were chatting we ordered dessert to go....
