A Fantastic 5-Star Find – Well Worth the Drive! We traveled 45 minutes for our first visit to Lucchesi’s to celebrate a birthday dinner, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the charm and warmth of this local favorite. The restaurant has a nostalgic, white tablecloth atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It’s clearly a go-to spot for special occasions, another table was celebrating as well, which added a festive touch to the evening. We started with the roasted peppers and cheese appetizer, which was a delicious and flavorful way to kick off the meal. For our entrées, we chose the Lobster Romano and the Spots, both were fantastic, prepared with care, and absolutely packed with flavor. Each dinner came with a fresh salad topped with house made dressing and blue cheese, which was simple yet really well done and delicious. For our sides, we selected the pasta with their homemade red sauce. Just a heads up: the sauce is pretty sweet, but as someone who typically doesn’t go for sweet red sauces, I have to admit this one was an exception. It was rich, smooth, and surprisingly delicious. The menu isn’t overly large, but we found that to be a strength. It’s thoughtfully put together, focusing on high quality, well executed dishes instead of an overwhelming number of choices. A special thank you to our server, Ronnie, who went above and beyond. Friendly, attentive, and professional, Ronnie helped make the birthday celebration even more special. Important tip: Lucchesi’s is only open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM, so be sure to make a reservation. With limited hours and high demand, it’s a smart move to book ahead. We were truly impressed with our first visit and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner with incredible food, outstanding service, and a cozy, elegant atmosphere, Lucchesi’s should absolutely be on your list.

We went here for my b day dinner . This was my 1st time here, and I am from Monessen and have always wanted to go there. I got the veal and wine, and my wife got the chicken parmasean. Both were excellent! Also, the pasta and pasta sauce were very sweet, and we loved it, probably my favorite part of the meal. We were there at 5, so it was not packed. That was good because we got to talk to the waitress about the menu. The atmosphere was nice and there was ample parking. The price was good. When I am back in town, I will be stopping by again.

We’ve lived two miles away from Lucchesi’s for five years and just recently heard about them. We went tonight for our five year anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had the Garlic Shrimp appetizer and it was amazing. I got the Lobster Romano and my husband got the Filet Mignon. Both were absolutely wonderful. We got the cannoli to go for dessert. YUM. Like other have said, it’s not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. We will absolutely be back again! Thank you, Lucchesi’s, for a wonderful anniversary dinner.

I had not been to Lucchesis in 15 years and was really looking forward to going there this evening. I had reservations for 5 people at 7:30 and my wife and I arrived first. As we walked into the restaurant I noticed a sign that said no shorts. Well I had on a $75.00 pair of plaid shorts and a collared golf shirt with dress shoes. I figured there would be no problem. We walked in and there were 4 or 5 people at the bar and absolutely no one in the dining area. I mentioned that I had shorts on and was told they would get me a pair of pants. Honest to God, I thought they were kidding but to my surprise they brought me a fat mans pair of dingy jeans and actually expected me to put them on. Naturally I declined and my wife and I left the restaurant, went into the parking lot, waited for our friends and went to the Back Porch and had a lovely experience. Granted I really thing Lucchesis would have been been better but because of this ridiculous decision to not let me in because of my attire they lost a $500.00 tab. Talk about poor business practice!!!!!!! If anyone from the restaurant reads this, I would appreciate a call (the party of 5 for 7:30 and explain why they have this...

Absolutely without a doubt a diamond in the rough the owner father mother son are all so they are five stars but they’re above stars a true recognition to find Italian cuisine. Monessen has an equal of New York. Truly Italian cuisine a very nice environment family owned. I can only tell you if you have never had Italian food and desserts. You don’t have to go to New York. It’s just a little drive but it’s well worth it. You should never question the price when you’re getting something priceless I love that restaurant Trattoria unfortunately the sun has taken over the business but I soon learned he was the cook the whole time inherited by Life from la familiar all I can tell you is that you need to drive to Monessen and...
