A Fantastic 5-Star Find – Well Worth the Drive!
We traveled 45 minutes for our first visit to Lucchesi’s to celebrate a birthday dinner, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the charm and warmth of this local favorite. The restaurant has a nostalgic, white tablecloth atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It’s clearly a go-to spot for special occasions, another table was celebrating as well, which added a festive touch to the evening.
We started with the roasted peppers and cheese appetizer, which was a delicious and flavorful way to kick off the meal. For our entrées, we chose the Lobster Romano and the Spots, both were fantastic, prepared with care, and absolutely packed with flavor.
Each dinner came with a fresh salad topped with house made dressing and blue cheese, which was simple yet really well done and delicious. For our sides, we selected the pasta with their homemade red sauce. Just a heads up: the sauce is pretty sweet, but as someone who typically doesn’t go for sweet red sauces, I have to admit this one was an exception. It was rich, smooth, and surprisingly delicious.
The menu isn’t overly large, but we found that to be a strength. It’s thoughtfully put together, focusing on high quality, well executed dishes instead of an overwhelming number of choices.
A special thank you to our server, Ronnie, who went above and beyond. Friendly, attentive, and professional, Ronnie helped make the birthday celebration even more special.
Important tip: Lucchesi’s is only open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM, so be sure to make a reservation. With limited hours and high demand, it’s a smart move to book ahead.
We were truly impressed with our first visit and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner with incredible food, outstanding service, and a cozy, elegant atmosphere, Lucchesi’s should absolutely be...
Read moreI had not been to Lucchesis in 15 years and was really looking forward to going there this evening. I had reservations for 5 people at 7:30 and my wife and I arrived first. As we walked into the restaurant I noticed a sign that said no shorts. Well I had on a $75.00 pair of plaid shorts and a collared golf shirt with dress shoes. I figured there would be no problem. We walked in and there were 4 or 5 people at the bar and absolutely no one in the dining area. I mentioned that I had shorts on and was told they would get me a pair of pants. Honest to God, I thought they were kidding but to my surprise they brought me a fat mans pair of dingy jeans and actually expected me to put them on. Naturally I declined and my wife and I left the restaurant, went into the parking lot, waited for our friends and went to the Back Porch and had a lovely experience. Granted I really thing Lucchesis would have been been better but because of this ridiculous decision to not let me in because of my attire they lost a $500.00 tab. Talk about poor business practice!!!!!!! If anyone from the restaurant reads this, I would appreciate a call (the party of 5 for 7:30 and explain why they have this...
