Great Wall — Restaurant in Monongahela

Horrible, just horrible. I've never eaten there before but heard good things about it so my boyfriend and i decided to order and have it delivered. We got the food it was nice and hot so i thought oh yeah gona be good until i pulled it out. My boyfriend ordered garlic and chicken and it was disgusting the guy told us it was going to be breaded and it wasnt and it was all mainly vegetables that were hardly cooked and tasteless chicken i ordered the sweet and sour chicken and shrimp combo platter they told us that was going to be breaded also well it wasnt breaded the chicken is tasteless and slimy, only had 3 small pieces of shrimp in it and the pork fried rice is so tastless i ended up having to put like 5 things of soy sauce in my rice just to get a flavor, and when we called the restaraunt up to tell them about it they argued with us and said that they told us it wasnt breaded when they did say it was breaded and they said only 3 small pieces of shrimp come in the chicken and shrimp combo platter and then hung up on us. We will NEVER EVER order from there again its just disgusting and horrible...

I have a close friend who owns a Chinese restaurant and have worked their at the top level. Because of this I can tell you that the food here should be of much higher quality for what you are paying. Some of the more expensive dishes are not even prepared the way they are supposed to be, different ingredients or lacking them entirely. I've ordered dishes that had ingredients in place of others and spicy dishes that had absolutely no ingredients such as peppers to make it spicy whatsoever. The Genral Tso's was spicy a tad bit (actually had hot pepper in it) for the first time last time though I must say. Single father and my teenagers like Chinese so I've, out of necessity, ordered here often. I have a strong dislike for the negativity surrounding Chinese restaurants so I assure you my review here is honest....

The food is soo good. It's on the sweeter side for Chinese food, but that's what I think makes it so good! My order has never taken more then 20 min to be ready for pickup. I've only ate in there once. It's nice cause your usually the only person eating in there, most of their business is takeout. Order out from there about once a month.UPDATE the food had changed drastically... it's gone very downhill. The food was so very greasy and it never had been before, my spring roll was greasy mush inside. I was so upset. We hadn't ordered for a good while and I was jonesing a spring roll and crab rangoons...i was so bummed out...
