About a week ago we ate dinner here with our daughter when we visited a college near by. My husband and I ordered the 2 for $20 meal. I ordered ribs with the extra meat. They were the worst ribs I've ever eaten. There were clevers of meat with thin slices of bone in them. They did not look like any ribs I was familiar with. Also..They did not look like the ribs i saw on someone elses table. The problem was I could not taste the meat. The meat had no flaver. I only tasted the very thick barbecue sauce. Also the food was served cold. My daughter ordered somekind of specialty burger having an egg in it. The menu described it to us as being like a tall stacked heart attack burger having a lot of extra stuff on top and should be juicy, good tasting and different from any past burger eaten. My daughter ordered the sunny side egg to be cooked thoroughly. However the egg came running and she sent back the egg to be cooked some more. The waitress brought the egg back and it was still running so my daughter ate the burger without the egg. When i realized the egg wasn't eaten I called the waitress over. The waitress was very friendly. The manager came to the table to apologize and treated us with free desserts. The food gave me the runs and when I visited the bathroom it felt like I would never leave. There was only three stalls. The first stall did not have toilet paper, the second stall was occupied, so I went into the handicap stall. After which, I could hear the person in the occupied stall was having the same problem with her bowels. I was looking at a two and a half hour ride home and hoped the worst was over and I would not have to make any additional stops along the way. Again the waitress was very nice and friendly. But it didn't make up for the bad taste of the food, the pain in my bowels and the fact they could not cook an egg well done even when given a second chance. I just pray the runs wasn't given to me intentionally. Also when I got home, I threw out the leftover ribs because no one wanted to eat them. This was the first time my kids did not eat left overs from a restaurant. I will never eat at...
Read moreMy husband and I arrived around 4:30 pm on Thursday with our 12 year old, 2 year old and 7 month old. The place was basically empty. They could have placed us anywhere. We had the two little ones in a double stroller (front back stack, not a wide side by side). The hostess and staff with her seemed indifferent about us being there and told us we could not bring the stroller in. They advised we could leave it upfront but we opted to unload the children and all the things and put the stroller back in the vehicle. I was asked if everything was ok with going down the steps, which I replied the steps were fine, we just normally keep everything with us in the stroller (diaper bag, toys, baby food/snack bag) because it is easier. The comment was dismissed and took us to our table and brought a car seat sling to the table. The hostess began to walk away and I spoke up to request a booster for my two year old, which was brought then brought over and placed on the center of the table. They were quick to have a server get to us and we got our food very fast. The adult meals were fine. The kids menu chicken tenders were over done but not burnt. We did not complain or say anything about it. My husband and twelve year old went to the rest room and saw there was in fact a ramp... So they could have sat us at the upper level instead of lower level to avoid stairs with the stroller, OR set us below out of the way with the ramp to get the stroller down. We have never had a restaurant advise us we couldn't use a stroller to help with managing the children and the associated things needed. I could not see a logical reason for the treatment we received regarding it and there was not a sign advising no strollers... We won't be going back. The two stars is because the adult food was fine and the service was fast... (But that was probably to get us out as fast as...
Read moreHad a pretty disappointing experience at this location on 10/12/25. We got sat with no wait at around 5:15pm (this should be an indicator as to how this meal went...). Overall the restaurant and parking lot were pretty empty. Our server was very polite but was pretty absent during our meal.
My wife got the 1/2 rack of ribs and mashed potatoes, which is supposed to come with coleslaw, which my wife and I realized driving on the way home hadn't come out with the meal.
I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak rare with french fries instead of mashed potatoes, which is supposed to come with broccoli as the additional side, the broccoli didn't come out with the meal and much like my wife's meal we didn't realize it until we were driving home. My steak ranged from medium well on one end of the steak to rare on the other, and the quality of the steak was close to what I could get from Denny's for a steak and eggs breakfast. Which is to say it was an exceptionally poor quality steak and definitely NOT worth the $26.99 being asked for it.
Upon raising the concern about how the steak had been cooked with our server I would have expected a manager to come by to see if there was anything that they could do for us. Not only did the manager not come by, we didn't see them at all during our dining experience, which from the restaurants that I have been to lately is the exception to the managers checking on tables rule.
I cannot recommend dining at this location as it is pretty clear that the current managerial staff ONLY cares about the money coming in and not the whole dining experience. You have...
