Sandwich King — Restaurant in Monroe Township

I called in with an order and had to explain what I wanted which is on their menu. So I made this call at 144pm called then called back less than 2 minutes and they said my order was done so I explained again and then they somewhat understood. So I got there in 5 mins w the menu and arguing with me if you don’t understand know your menu and ask this or that so “I didn’t say hot Virginia ham with butter sauce so now they want to charge me more an the wife’s owner says you owe us a $1!!!!!!! Really you confused my order!!!!!! I can go on!!!!!! I’ve been going there for a couple of months never had a problem but the guy that owns the place was yelling at me saying he made 2 sandwiches it wasn’t my fault it was your staff and not that miscommunication which could have be settled easily until they say you owe a dollar more really?!?!?!?!? Service was good. Friendly and attentive staff! Atmosphere was awful. It was dirty and dingy inside with a trashy talk show playing. Food was very disappointing! I haven’t been to a sandwich king, I wasn’t even sure if it’s a chain or a local business, but this place had good reviews. My husband’s burger was bland and boring. My sandwich was also bland, the egg was over cooked and the bread was dry and lacking flavor. It was a depressing atmosphere and meal. We left feeling drained and dissatisfied. I think Neeru Jhingan, must have been the problem, as someone who has worked in the service industry, I can only assume you must be the impatient, extremely picky type who cries when they don't get their way. Patience goes a long way!
