Bojangles — Restaurant in Monroe

I just left the Monroe location on Louisville Ave today on July 15, 2025 and order a meal. My chicken was old, cold, and hard and I was just going to simply deal with it until my sides (double fries) were super old and cold so I politely in the drive thru with a big smile and in a soft voice asked for fresh fries only not the chicken and immediately the little girl with braces in her mouth and with a frown on her face caught the worst attitude and told me to pull up and slammed the drive thru window in my face. My mom and son were shocked, I’m like wait why is she mad because I ask and politely so and with a smile on my face for fresh fries WOW! Simply ask me to pull up without the crazy look in your face and not slammed the window. It’s just that easy! But I continue to stay calm and blew my horn and politely asked for a refund, because now I don’t trust you being that mad making my food oh no ma’am!!!!! I paid with a card so the manager came to the window not even asking me anything or apologizing she had the same bad attitude as the worker… The manager stated (and with the same frowned look bad attitude like her employee) she can’t put it back on my card and handed me cash. My arm was still out the window and she immediately closed the window in my face. Ignorance and incompetence...

If I could give 0 stars I would, completely unprofessional establishment. I paid for an order totaled at $16.67 with a $100 bill. There was $20 missing from my change, when I asked about it he told me to pull forward so that he could count the drawer to make sure. He then came out to my car still missing $20 from my change and said that his drawer was correct and the $20 was misplaced on my end. It was not, I went inside for him to count the drawer in front of me for piece of mind and he refused to do so several times, I even returned the food to get a refund and I still did not have the $100 I started with. I asked for a manager or someone who could pull footage from their window cameras, his response was, “ not right now there isn’t, I can count the drawer at the end of the night and see if we owe you then”. Absolutely not, so since he couldn’t make sense of it or get me to accept that I am missing $20 they gave me MY $20 back that I hadn’t received in my change. This whole exchange took :30 minutes of back and...

This was my first time eating at Bojangles. The signs are everywhere around Monroe so you can't miss it! At work today, my coworkers and I were talking about it and so my fiance and I ate here this evening. He was drawn for the bo-berry biscuits. I want to try the sausage gravy next time we come. We were the only ones in the dining room besides a random homeless woman, who was told to leave during the time we were there...

Service was good! New employees still learning the POS system. They dropped fresh fries in the fryer for us. We also got an unexpected surprise of complimentary mashed potatoes and gravy. The cashier brought our order to the table. The tables were all clean. I tried their sweet tea and it tasted fresh and cold. Your option for combo sides are either fries or one of their "fixin's". I appreciate that there was no upcharge for a "premium" side

Overall, I'd eat here again. It was reasonably priced. Good job! Let's hope the citizens of Monroe can keep...
