El Buen Sazon — Restaurant in Monroe

A friend wanted to try this new restaurant so we went . The building has been remodeled & it looks wonderful. Booths & Tables for seating . Our server seemed to be inexperienced & nervous .She brought menus & took drink orders . Half of our drink orders were incorrect , she brought them again & still not right . One of our party ordered a large queso dip for the table, we asked for chips several times before getting them . The server took half of the table's order then left & came back about 15 minutes later & took rest tables order . So half of our party's food came out hot , the second half cold. Different servers came to clear off table while we were eating , reaching over us . When we finished our meal ,one appeared & began to clear rest of table, she swiped up my natural sweetener packets and I tried to retrieve but she gave me a unfriendly look & took them away with other things. Been here twice now and the food is delicious. There is the tiniest communication barrier we encountered on our first visit, our daughter has a milk allergy so we had to communicate that to our waitress and she had a little bit of an issue understanding, but everything turned out great in the end. Periodically come in to order some take out. Generally speaking the food is good, a decent amount for the price, but a few things make it feel like a chore to be here. For one, the staff comes off as very unaware, and inexperienced almost standoffish. And the music is entirely too loud. Restaurant is pretty, like the resin flooring, and tropical birds, and the drinks are tasty, but just make the music less loud and train the staff to be a little...
