Today was day 3 of giving them our money to stay at their hotel. Day 1 went fine nothing to complain about. Room 266. Day 2 same as the day before room 217. But....... Day 3!! I have never ever been so disgusted with a place of business in all of my life. Day three ... Young girl behind glass no acess at 5 pm to the main lobby . She was locked in but a little room and glass for the renter of the room. Very very hot in there.... So we get our first card and we go to the room . The room is crawling with roaches !! So we go back down. Now she has already been told no rooms near where we were and upstairs not downstairs... She proceeds to give us and ask us several times if we would take a room downstairs. Repeatedly reminded NO!!! We get to the 2nd room where the air DOES NOT WORK!!! So its 97 degrees out today and we head back to the office where we proceed to tell her that this is truly unacceptable. She refused to give us our money back where we could of found a hotel that suited or basic needs. Policy once money changes hands. Its gone!! . So we are now in room 3. Where when headed up the stairs a young guy stopped me just to let me know. Ma'am dont go around the corner there is a man there laying on the balcony nude!!! Again we have been in the room now for 5 hours and the room is not any cooler than we we arrived! I am so very unhappy that 80 bucks was spent to sit in the chair buy the ac just to keep my asthma from acting up .. very unsettling as well. When i spoke to the young lady behind the counter she rolled her eyes at me saying next time maybe you should have your requirements before you rent the room !! I in turn stated the 80 dollars that was just given to your hotel.i would like the same accomodations as you would give a basic human or the same service as you would give to your mother!!!! I do not think. That expecting rooms that are clean or. That have addaquat air conditioning to be that much to ask anyone . What do you think???I feel like we should be compped , on another night or money back or at least half of it and respected as a customer and not have a Young lady roll her eyes during the Conversation.which makes the situation just worse. My boyfriend and I got a room for our Fourth of July weekend.. Beware!!!! A bargain is not a bargain.. We stayed one night and decided to stay another night but had to switch rooms ,the room that we had had already been reserved.. we were moved to room 164.. Wasn't in that room much that day ,even paid for one more night...thats when we realized we weren't the only ones spending the night in that room..

I saw a baby roach on the headboard.. I kept looking around the room and noticed one on the ceiling and another roach on the door behind the hinge.. Roaches we're coming out everywhere.. I killed ten and that was ten too many... we packed our things and left! Rooms are not as clean as the pictures you see online. I've stayed in some nice places and some not-so-nice . But this place is the worst by far!! ...and the walls looked like they haven't been cleaned EVER!!!..
We had to go back the next morning to speak to the Manager, told him what we had found and how unhappy we were... only wanted a refund for the one night.. the night that we saw all of the roaches ... he offered us another room.. and refused to give us a refund ... needless to say it ruined our holiday weekend together.. We weren't about to spend another night in a ROACH MOTEL!!!
So take my advice PLEASE!!! If you don't want to go back home with more pets than you already have.... And I pray we haven't!!!! Don't Stay at the Relax Inn in Monroe...

The first night was okay, when I checked in the lady was extremely nice and super helpful she offered extraordinary service & should HIGHLY consider a much better company. However, when I woke up, I had 9 bug bites on my bottom and all down my right leg (all together). The next day I went to the front desk & a different lady (Kellie) was there. I told her I was bit and she simply told me unfortunately she has to see them and that there’s really nothing she could do. Now, she says she didn’t say that but if you watch the cameras you’d see her facial & body language (unless they have audio) says that she had no means to act on it. Now, later that day the other lady was there and she IMMEDIATELY checked my room and got me out to a different room. So very kind & empathic towards me. She then apologized, called the inspectors & changed my room whilst she was closing her shift! Now by all means I loved that she was eager and it was a much less biting room but there were more extensive issues in that room as well. Granted it’s $65 but the least they could’ve done is offer the FIRST nights refund. Instead offered a 10% discount on the next nights stay. I checked out and will...
