Wow! This little place packs a PUNCH! The fish dinner is amazing, the zucchini planks were to die for. This place has two parts a bar and a dining area completely separate with one being smoking and the dining non smoking. They were busy with a party but still were prompt with drinks and our food! We will be coming to the golden goblet, Trinda was our server and was out standing she really made us first time customers feel welcomed! Thank you !

Must stop location for any smokers. Solid smell of nicotine from 1970. Super friendly staff. Old school vibe with a very limited audience (ie. You're the same ones that have been going everyday since it opened). Appetizers were great. Extremely limited draft options, the "the originals" (bud, miller, etc, blah).

Best little hidden gem! All of the food we have tried so far has been delicious! I used to get the best bar pizza here over 30 years ago and it is still as good. The fish sandwich is amazing and the potato pancakes are yummy too! I took my mom here for a fish sandwich (she got the double size) and she loved it!

After driving past this place for years, decided to try the "award winning fish". From the moment we walked in, we knew this was a mistake. Walked into the dining room, all tables were full, we think. It was seat yourself with only about 8 tables. Basically, we walked in and walked right back out. Oh, we attempted to enter the bar area but it was just a thick cloud of cigarette smoke - In 2023, we honestly didn't know you could smoke indoors anywhere. Walked out to the parking lot to find something else. During our search, realized several parties from the dining room had left. We went back in and found a table that was the least dirty. All of them were still dirty from the previous guests, this one just had the least amount of stuff on it. Ok, so here go. Two servers working for a Friday night in Oktoberfest decorum. After awhile, long enough for us to continue our alternate dinner Google search, our dirty table was finally wiped down. Two different paper menus were tossed on the table and we were asked for our drink order. Ok, the two servers working. One was good, at best. He was at least trying and putting in the effort. The other server, she hated her job, the people around her, the restaurant, the food, everything - she glared at me, others, the wall, she just looked pissed the whole, entire time. I'm not entirely sure who was our wait service, both interacted with us. We ordered wings with the guy who let us know they would take 20 minutes to cook. But our dinner order was with her. My wife got a sandwich, I got the fish sandwich platter. Talking to her was just so unpleasant. It was almost as if we were disturbing her, that we were an inconvenience ordering dinner. And we weren't the only ones. She ignored other tables who tried to ask her for things. Our food came out fairly quick. My wife really enjoyed her sandwich. My "award winning fish" was anything but. It was fine I guess. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. Wouldn't even order it again if we had to go back. Didn't get coleslaw with my platter (which is fine, its coleslaw). We ate and just laughed at how bad everything was the whole time. TV was on in the corner but music was playing over it. Everyone was at least 50 years older than us, and only talked politics. They were celebrating Oktoberfest, but the wall decor was nautical? But the whole place was just old. Black office chairs in the dining room. Black tables and booths. But nets hanging from the walls, but also Halloween decorations. It was confusing at absolute best. Definitely not our scene. We finished our meal. We get our bill. But remember our wings? We're about to pay our bill and the guy realizes our wings were never brought out. He gets them, they're crazy hot. 6 jumbo wings for $12. They were good, again nothing to go out of your way for. As we're eating our wings, one of the cooks comes into the dining room to talk to people she knows. They ordered the fish too. She tells them things have changed and the fish isn't the same as before. Apparently fresh Alaskan cod would be sliced up on Wednesday. Now, it is just regular frozen fish fillets - explains the "award" thing. Apparently nothing is cooked or ordered like it used to be. Everything is cheaper and a lesser quality. Yup, story checks out. We pay our bill and get the hell out. It was bad. We've been to some bad places in all our travels. We concluded this was the worst place we could remember. Absolutely do not recommend. Honestly, we're surprised they are still open. If I had to guess, they're only open because of the same patrons that have been coming for decades, order the same thing everytime they go, pay in exact change and...

This wasn’t on a Sunday, it was a Wednesday. I’m not sure if you are mad because I wasn’t happy? I wasn’t rude, just honest with my opinion. Me stating I’m picky, is to let others know - it could just be me. If you look at my reviews that I have given to others. They are all mostly good. Have the day you deserve.

Being super honest here - I don’t like much of anything & im extremely picky. So take my review as you will - I order the fettuccine Alfredo. I LOVE fettuccine Alfredo. This one was very boring and didn’t have much flavor. It has more chunks of cream/alfredo than actual sauce on it. I’ve never seen Alfredo in chunks before. It also wasn’t very hot. My bf got a sandwich and fries. I ate one of his fries, and didn’t even like that & I love French fries. I literally could live off pasta and fries. The staff was friendly, but from one server to another, wasn’t extremely attentive. My bf was completely finished with his food, by the time the waitress had come back over to check on us after dropping off our food. The restaurant was not busy. There was one other table...

Me and a friend ordered takeout. I was on time to pick it up, as they were still getting the order together. I ordered a fish sandwich with double starter and onion rings, hold the coleslaw. I got a luke warm fish sandwich, cold onion rings, 1 tarter sauce instead of 2 and coleslaw I didn't want. My friend ordered a fried jumbo shrimp dinner, with fries, soup and cocktail sauce. The fried shrimp were so caked up with breading they were bulging squares that didn't look like shrimp at all. And they didnt taste like shrimp either, they were gooey and under cooked. The fries were COLD. Not the first time Golden Goblet cooking failed us. We won't be coming back. Now we're going out to get dinner elsewhere since this was...
