Overall, I was unimpressed with Molyneaux. The installers that came did a great job, but I found the entire process subpar. I went with Molyneaux, paying top-dollar because I expect to get what you pay for. I was told the carpet came with a 10 year warranty so long as we cleaned it professionally every 12-18 months. Upon review of my order (and my fault for not reading the fine print) I only have a one-year warranty with a lot of clauses that will most likely void it. I went with them because I thought it had an outstanding warrant - as the salesman sold it, but it does not. The installers showed up and had us review everything because they didn't know what we ordered - nor did we seeing as it was four weeks after we saw the products. So, hopefully I got what I paid for. There were no calls/follow-ups during or beginning installation to ensure. I do not know how to tell what carpet is what and what I specifically bought. A phone call prior to installation to ensure everyone is on the same page would have been appreciated. The installers were not even sure what rooms/spaces were being installed, so we had to walk them through each room and closet.

Save yourself some money and go with someone else. It is not worth shelling out the extra money. The carpet looks nice - again the installers did great, but I think I could have saved myself a lot of money by going through Lowes or another local carpet install professional. If it doesn't come with the warranty I was promised, then what's the point of paying more? Quality and craftmanship is probably 5-stars, but their sales practices and warranties are horrible 0-stars -...

I called Molyneaux because I recognized the name as a local company and based on reviews on Angie's list. My call was answered and a salesman was scheduled to arrive in a timely manner and was bringing several samples with him so that I could choose the best carpet for my house. The salesman arrived exactly on time and took precise measurements. In fact, he measured twice sometimes and quoted that its better to measure twice and cut once. He then help me choose the best color and grade of carpet by providing me with dozens of samples. He drew out the areas to be carpeted to scale on a piece of graph paper and quoted me a price. I was happy with the price and was sold on how quickly it could be installed. He measured on Monday and it was installed on Thursday of the same week!. The installers called me on Thursday morning letting me know they were on their way. Installers arrived early on Thursday morning and began removing the old carpet right away. The installers were very polite and professional (Floyd and Floyd Jr.). They did a fantastic job of cleaning the sub-floors before putting down the new pad. The new carpet looks great and they were diligent about ensuring I was pleased before they left. They took all the old carpet with them and cleaned up their work areas very nicely. The job took all day and they did a fantastic job. I did not price shop so I have no idea if their price was high or not but the difference this new carpet makes and the excellent work the installers did makes it totally worth it to me. Highly...

So, my mother passed last May. She was a hoarder. Her bedroom was a mess! It was up to me to clean it up!

It took me a little more than 4 months to get it all cleaned out, primed and painted. The finishing touch was the new carpet that the room desperately needed.

I called and made an appointment with Molyneaux. Abbie came over, and having touched base with me earlier, was well-prepared with the exact kinds of samples I was interested in. And what was great was I told Abbie about my mum and how I had cleaned out the room, (I think I showed her some "before" pictures at that time), and it was clear she became about as invested in my project as I am. It was very easy to choose what I wanted from the excellent samples Abbie brought. I even scoped out some samples for some prospective future projects. In the end I chose a dense, light gray carpet and some nice padding. Soon I heard from Molyneaux and we scheduled.

After a small scheduling snafu, Frankie came the other day, and in a couple hours he had installed beautiful carpet in my mum's room! Not only is it great-looking, but it is, as Frankie said, like walking on a cloud! Abbie came over to check on things not long before Frankie finished, and we got our first look and feel of the carpet. I just about cried. My mother would love this room now! 🤩

My thanks to Abbie and Frankie, and the folks in the scheduling department who made a great save after aforementioned scheduling snafu! If this carpet lasts as good as it looks and feels now, just wow!
