I want to give this place a 5 star. But the way they treat their customers is horrible. I am in the area often and try to support the local restaurants. I used to come here often, but tonight is the last straw. The food is decent, but for 14 bux, they only give you 2 flatas with some beans and rice. It's a really small portion. The asada fries are good if you ask them to make the fries crispy, but only 1 of the ladies will do it for me. They others say okay, but the fries are just regular fried. The first time they did me wrong was when we ordered food, but they charged us more than the price on the menu. Please check your receipt when you eat here. Tonight was the last time. We ordered asada fries on the phone, when we got there, they didn't even start on the order. We waited like 20 minutes for the order. We got home and we were met with half fries cook, half fries raw. You can see in the picture the pale fries and the regular fries. They didn't give us any of the usual toppings either. No onions, cilantro, salsa... nothing. Just asada and really strong smelling cheese. It was so bad my wife went back to show them and leave it with them. No thanks... I highly advise to go somewhere else. This place is just plain and inconsistent. Bright points is the place looks really clean. Bad point, if you look at the hot plates and meat storage at the front counter, they cover it with plastic that looks like it melted into the food. It can't be good for...
Read moreCheck your receipts people, actually ask for one so you can see for yourself. They charged me more than what was listed on the menu for one of my items and when questioned I was told without hesitation or even looking into it that it was tax. Nope, tax is not $2 for an item that's listed at $9.99 on their menu. Cashier reviews her tablet for the item and states that is what they have it priced at in their system and the menu is wrong. Additionally there was a mystery surcharge of over a dollar but no itemization as to what it was, and no it was not the tax because the tax was itemized on a separate line. My best guess is they processed their own gratuity, at a nominal fee so the customer doesn't notice it much, without my consent or their system even asking for it. Not cool and shady to say the least. If you want people to tip ask for it up front, we are more than happy to do it when given the chance to do so of our own free will. Also be transparent and honest about your menu item prices, you either made an honest mistake but then didn't want to correct it and credit me or you're just shady with the bait and switch. Also I checked the prices on Doordash and the DoorDash prices for what I ordered match what's on the menu. I could have just ordered it on Doordash and gotten it cheaper than...
Read moreI love Mexican food and I love me some good tacos. I ordered 3 tacos and I added a small Horchata. I was embarrassed to ask them to take it of. 1 small horchata was $4.99. I was like ok is expensive but I hope is good, the horchata was not real Mexican Horchata, it was from a bag. I know real horchata and this was not made from rice. The tacos were also salty and did not taste good. First time me being here and never coming back again. I spend almost $20 for just 3 tacos and a fake Horchata. Not...
