Food is good buy!.. When someone makes a mistake and you get called about it, all you have to do is apologize, fix the mistake and go on...

But, when you wanna play dumb and say stuff like; "es que ya subió", meaning that the price of the tacos went up, is just a very not smart answer...

Here is the story I always go to this place and buy 1 Glass Coke and 5 tacos (2 cabeza, 2 tripas and 1 of shrimp) and the bill is always about 20 bucks.

Well, today I bought 6 tacos (2 cabeza, 2 tripas and 2 shrimp) and the bill was 20.17 usd, it got me curious as why?... since I am buying an extra taco of shrimp!... Then I decided to do the math and I noticed that the cashier girl made a mistake.

On the shrimp tacos, 2 × 2.75 = 5.50, and she put 7.50 instead and also the Sprite is priced at 2.10 and she charge me 2.50.

I just wanted to point out that she made a mistake and instead of acknowledging the mistake, she said that the tacos went up on price and the the drink was 2.50 because of the tax, but she charge me the tax separately... They should have given back 2.40 and a little bit off the tax as well...

And yes I did tip 10% only, for such a bad service...

Anyway, she went back to the cashier box and pulled 1.35 and gave it to...

DO NOT USE THEIR TAQUERO SERVICES!!! I made the mistake of hiring "Jorge", the owner, to do tacos for a birthday party recently. We agreed on 2 hour service for 50 guests. He was late! The food was already cooked, which is a big red flag. Most taco services cook on premises. He was obviously late coming from another party & was feeding us their left overs. GROSS!!!

Not even an hour into his services, he claimed he had already served 50 plates & that there would be an extra charge for any other plates. We didn't agree on 50 plates. We agreed on two hours of service for 50 people. I stood my ground & asked my guests to line up again & get seconds. I didn't pay him not 0.01¢ more! I couldn't wait to get rid of him, so I paid him what we originally agreed & asked him to leave an hour into his service. He didn't even leave any of the food behind like other taqueros do. He was probably on his way to another party to feed them our left overs that had probably been cooked since earlier that morning. HUGE food handling violation!

Watch this guy! He's sneaky! Parties are stressful enough. Save yourself the grief & just don't...

There's a small parking lot in front of the restaurant and a larger parking lot to the side. I highly recommended the larger side lot because it's easier to get in and out of. With that being said the food here was great. Got the buche, Al pastor, and carnitas tacos. My favorite of the 3 was the pastor. The meat was flavorful and juicy, holds it's own even compared to other places I've been to in the area. Second best is the carnitas. This one tasted bland and the pork wasn't crisped up for long enough in my opinion. The salsa and lemon really helped it out. Lastly there was the buche. I don't think I would go for this one again if I came here. I generally prefer cuts like lengua, cabeza, and buche. I order them regularly. This is the first time I've tasted buche that made me think something was off. Had a weird taste I couldn't put my finger on not sure if it was old or if the cut was not cleaned thoroughly before cooking. Regardless my overall experience was positive and I would come back again. Just avoid the buche is...

Thought I should give an update since it has been a while since I reviewed this place. Still one of my favorite Mexican food places to go to around the area. In 5 years there is much change indoors, and they do also have outdoor seating if anyone prefers that as well. The food here I can usually say is pretty good.. I just think sometimes depending on who is preparing the food, it could be inconsistent. For example I ordered Al pastor tacos (which are really good btw), it didn’t have any onions or cilantro, but the previous time it would have it. I would say just to try to ask for certain things just to double check you have what you need. One sad update is that they no longer sell tostadas anymore.. or at least the person that took my order told me that. This was one of my favorite items here and i am really sad they took it out.. I would still recommend this place. Just make sure if you order from the phone that you ordered at the right location since they don’t only have one location. Until next time!
