Revelation Raceway — Local services in Montclair

I decided to check out this new hobby shop and track this past Sunday. All i can say is i will be attending here every weekend for now on. Brought my 1/8th scale losi truggy here and had a great time. Everyone is super chill, if you have a problem other drivers are more then willing to help out, you meet very knowledgeable people who have been in this hobby for many many years. Hobby Shop has alot of product and parts stocked up incase your ever in a pinch. Downside is there is one employee who makes it seem as if you are wasting his time when calling the shop asking for a part in stock. Even before you finish speaking he right away says “okay bye”. What if their was additional questions needing to be ask. Very rude to be honest and not professional. This is an amazing establishment! I've been here time and time again. Every time I come I get drawn in more and more. It's a great place to come, just for fun to hang out for a day, check out the races, the practice, the shop bring the kids have a good time, or if you're serious and Avid racer they have everything you need parts accessories tools mechanics on site and one of the best race tracks around. 8th scale electric and Nitro as well as 5th scale. They also have a road course setup. I had a great experience today with the owner's right hand man. My car had been acting up and I brought it in for a tune-up. Not only did he figure out the problem (worn out gasket on the high and low end needle) he fixed my starter box and I was able to go out of there with my car running like it never had before. I bought a new 1/8 scale nitro buggy and had issues trying to break it in. I already knew about Revelation Raceway as the kids and myself have visited several times before to watch races. I had no doubt that bringing my car to Garen, the owner, that he wouldn't have any issues helping me get it running and dialed in. The engine had some mechanical issues too but he knew what to do and tackled the mission. I returned the next day and we ran the car to test it and I couldn't be happier! I told Garen he will be my new best friend, lol. I will be a part of all the fun play time here at the track and feel very comfortable knowing the knowledge that Garen has will help me as I break my toys! Thanks...
