I was really disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. I placed an online order and prepaid for my meal, excited to try the Hula Guava Pie. However, when I received my order, I noticed that the pie was missing. If I hadn't double-checked, I wouldn't have known it was out of stock. I had to ask a team member about it, and he told me they were out of the pie, which was frustrating.
While he did offer a dessert substitute and added two scoops of macaroni salad to make up for it, the fact that I wasn’t informed in advance was upsetting. Had I not checked, I would have ended up paying for something I wouldn’t receive, and I wouldn't have even known there was an issue.
To add to the disappointment, my order also arrived without any tartar sauce or teriyaki sauce, which should have been included. It felt like a lack of attention to detail and poor communication. While the staff tried to solve the situation, I still feel that a simple heads-up about the missing pie would have gone a long way in making this a more...

This place is a love hate relationship. I love the fact it has a drive thru and it's open late (12am at the time of writing this). But I hate the inconsistency of quality in grilled items such as the chicken or the bbq beef. I like how when I order the chicken katsu it is never dry and the quantity of food always is the same and proper portions. I also hate how after 6pm(at the time of this review) the drive thru line will stack 4+ cars pre order menu speaker and past that point up to the window there will be 4 cars, from the point you join the line it could take you 45 minutes to get your order in the drive thru at points.
Honestly it's drive thru Hawaiian BBQ which to my knowledge is one of the very few places that offer this, but I feel the wait time does need to be less at times. Also if I am going to wait I would like to see a little better quality control with the protein being grilled( less burned and...
Read moreI came here expecting a simple and pleasant meal, but was instead met with a completely impersonal and frustrating experience. I went to the counter to place my order and pay with my credit card, but was told I had to use one of their computer kiosks instead. I don't mind a little technology, but I was not in the mood for an awkward, machine-driven ordering process, and the whole situation felt rude and unnecessary. A kiosk can't answer questions or offer help, and I felt completely ignored by the employees who were just standing around. Rather than navigate a clunky touchscreen just to pay with my card, I decided my money would be better spent elsewhere. I walked right out and went to in n out next door, where a human being was happy to take my order and my credit card without a fuss. It's a shame, because I love the food, but I won't be back to a place that treats its customers like an...
