One of the best wine tasting experiences on the Central Coast is at the Morgan tasting room in Carmel. They are known for their fabulous chardonnay and pinot noir, but don't miss the albarino. For $15 you can choose 4 wines to taste, and if you buy $50 worth of wine the fee is waived. On Sundays they have an older library wine available. Yesterday it was their 2012 Tondre Pinot Noir. Love to come here whether with my family or friends. The service is welcoming n the place is so inviting . However this last visit , they ran out of charcuterie . We were looking forward to that accompaniment. I ran to Safeway to get what I needed n had my ever ready picnic bag in my car ; so we enjoyed our tasting. I visited the Morgan Tasting Room together with a friend who is also a Morgan Wine Club member. We were picking up our Fall shipments and visiting over a tasting flight of Morgan wines.
