Bar & Vines — Restaurant in Montgomery

When your hours are until 10pm, you should probably unlock the doors at 9pm if someone is trying to come in instead of staring at them through the window and ignoring them. We visited (or attempted to visit) this place last night. We showed up at 9pm hoping to have a glass or two of wine. When we attempted to open the doors, we found it to be locked. There were three people inside including the employee. As we stood there, looking through the window, the employee just stared at us for a second and then went about her business, visiting with the lady at the bar. We drove a half hour to get here, The least you could do is come to the door and give us an explanation rather than stare at us through the window, and then proceeded to ignore us after that. Bar & Vines is hands down one of my favorite little spots in Montgomery! It has such a great vibe—perfect for a casual night out or a quick catch-up with friends.
