Eastpond Healthy Frogg — Restaurant in Montgomery

The tea is great, but that isn’t why I am writing a review.

The lady who helped me this morning was awesome!! (Wavy, light brown hair—I should have gotten her name) It was 6:30 in the morning, so I was already expecting someone tired and not excited about making my tea. But I got the exact opposite.

It was my first time in, and she was more than willing to educate me on the drinks and the health benefits. She gave me recommendations and was so patient as I looked over everything they had to offer. I assumed she was the owner because of how passionate and excited she was about the business. Then she made a comment about her boss owning another Herbalife shop in town, so it was clear she was an employee and not an owner.

Personally, as a business owner, I am always looking for great employees who will share in my passion and joy for the business. This woman seemed like the type that would excel in a position where she could propel the vision of a business. That is so rare!

I was just driving through on my way to Florida, but I told her if she lived in South Carolina, I would hire her to work for me in a heartbeat.

Nice enough place, but staff seemed to be enjoying their time in the shop by themselves and we busted that up by showing up. When asked if we knew what we wanted we were just pointed to the big board on the wall so the young ladies could go back to chatting. Never been in the place before and had no clue what to get so we guessed on one thing but they were out of it, and then just guessed at another, all of which I think were the teas. They were super pretty drinks, but looks deceived the rip out of us. One person's first reaction to taking a sip of their drink was to make a scrunched face and blurt "This tastes like a foot. Like a literal foot." and my drink was so sour and had this taste... The best way I can describe the taste is that of very out dated Flintstone chewable vitamins. Ended up not drinking any of the drinks we got. Probably won't go back to be honest, but if fate does land me there again I'd probably stick with the shakes that I see everyone going bonkers about and update this review...

The moment I entered I felt like a freedom rider sitting at a whites only counter. I and my daughter were never greeted. It was our first visit, someone from my workout class referred us. I was hoping the attendant would have helped us order but I just had to feel my way through ordering. I had to find the straws myself as we weren't offered straws with our tea. I had the cupids bow.
