WNB Factory - Wings & Burger — Restaurant in Montgomery

15 July 2022 This was my first time dining at any WNB Factory. I noticed it by error one day I intended to shop at Publix. I was impressed. I ordered the double cheeseburger small combo as I wasn't familiar with the size of their hamburger patties. Let's put it this way, the next time I will order a single. Wow there were a LOT of tater tots!!!! I thought the heck with carbohydrates and consumed all of them. The tots had to be freshly fried as they were hot and absolutely not greesy at all. Yes I did have to wait longer than usual, but my personal opinion is I am willing to wait for freshly cooked food. I was impressed. The two young ladies working the front were friendly, polite and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant. 27 January 2023 When I first ate at this restaurant they had tater tots. They were fresh cooked and despite the carbohydrate overload, they were delicious. They discontinued tater tots. Well they still had not steak fries but good size fries so that was okay. I ate there about 2 weeks ago and they discontinued those fries and now they serve McDonald's shoestring fries and because of that I SERIOUSLY doubt I will ever eat there again. The hamburger pattie was what seemed to be smaller and thinner along the line of Jack's restaurant. I regret composing this review. We ordered the 3 PC platter with Cole slaw, fries, and a Hawaiian roll for $8.99. We got only strips. The server said we ordered only strips. We ordered online so I wasn't sure. Receipt says platter. Second, we added 5 PC wings to each sandwich. We got 4. That wouldn't have been so bad except they were dry. I wouldn't be so focused on that except they were literally so dry, they were solid. Now everyone was perfectly polite. It's just not the quality I'm expecting at the prices they charge. And we ate there once before with a totally different experience. I know if I was in leadership, I'd want to know when this is happening. This was Sat night at 8 pm. Not to nitpick, but just fyi, the meat in the sandwiches also tasted dry. Not as dry as the wings, but dry. That wasn't the experience the first time, or it would've been completely 1 star rating. They did still get it wrong the first time too, though. But it was all fresh so didn't mind that time. This one on Sat was so over the top, someone in leadership should know. That's a lot wrong on a single order. Which makes me wonder how accurate other orders are. Again, they are perfectly polite. Just a quality control issue. But at those prices, that is not the kind of quality I expect....

Recently the food quality has taken a bad turn. The last time we ate here the Korean cheesesteak was missing the spicy sauce and they drowned it in watery juice in the container so it was a soggy mess. The steak itself had an off smell to it like old meat, but not enough that I didn’t eat it. Our side of okra wasn’t cooked quite right either.

The time before this we tried the wings and the “kitchen sink” cheesesteak. The wings were small and dry, and the most expensive cheesesteak was surprisingly small and really dry. Also ran into an issue recently where they closed hours early for no obvious reason.

This place is expensive; but used to be worth the price for quality food. Something changed and I think we are going to take a break from it for a while. Gave an extra star because it might just be a temporary management/employee problem, but I see quite a few other negative...
