I eat at Hardee’s in FL, where I’m from, regularly, and I have never had an experience like this. The drive thru line was 6 cars deep and I was in a hurry, so I came inside to order. No one was at the register so I waited. A woman finally said “I’ll be with you in a minute.” No problem. Then she said “sir, it would be faster if you would just go get in the drive thru line.” I said, “well, there were a ton of cars and no one inside, so that’s why I came in.” She responded, “well that’s not how it works.” Ok… Finally a woman came to take my order. I waited quite a while, watching them fill all the drive thru orders (even those placed after mine) on the screen. While I was waiting, my daughter said “Daddy, you forgot to order my water.” So when they brought my order, I kindly told the worker that I was very sorry, but I had forgotten to order a cup of water, and asked if I could just have a cup for some water. She told me no, I had to order it with my order, otherwise it would be a separate order and I had to pay $1.35. Seriously? Her solution was that she would have to put it on the order of the woman behind me in line. So then I had to stand there for another 5 minutes and wait for the woman behind me to order and pay, before they would just hand me a cup. My family was passing through on our way to a reunion in Florence, and we had spent the night in Montgomery. The service and unprofessionalism at this restaurant is terrible. I understand that they were dealing with the morning rush and everyone has a bad day, but this was truly ridiculous. I was patient, I wasn’t rude, I didn’t raise my voice - in short, I did nothing to deserve the treatment I received. It was like I was putting them all out by entering their restaurant. Hardee’s needs to know that this is how they’re being represented. If I’d had another option and hadn’t been in a hurry, I’d have walked out. I’d avoid this location if at...
Read moreManager on duty must have either gotten up on the wrong side of her bed or just hated being at work this morning. There when it opened which was after 5am. She would see people circle building, go to door ,drive thru and just be aggravated because of late opening they lost 5-7 folks in Drive thru. Then she's taking a drive Thu order as we are outside because doors are still locked. Finally the lady that was cooking (wearing apron & trying to fix food) comes to unlock doors. Hope hands were washed after dirty keys and dirty door handles & no apron change. They're cheap plastic it wasn't like huge expense to rip it off and put a clean one on for fixing food in kitchen. was on those 2 women there. Hopefully more will be coming in shortly.
Nice & clean place. Bathroom clean. Trash had not been emptied from day before... I was 1st in bathroom is how I know.
Hope the mgr day gets better and she can say TY, maybe even smile. But who knows what could have happened before she got to work. It is the "nicest" Hardees we have on this...
Read moreWe used the drive through of course and we were out reasonably fast. Unlike Atlanta this hardees cook knows how to make delicious biscuits and none greasy steak which can be difficult.
Unlike McDonalds the steak biscuits are not wet from broiling the meat. When I opened it I returned it and asked what is this?
Normally we didn't eat out a lot in recent years but I'm still recovering from major surgery, sooo it's been a challenge for a few months. All fast food places fail to properly mix the syrup and carbonated water correctly and really loose flavor. I never drink he sodas after I finish eating my food.
As I have said before the quality and customer service has really failed since COVID 19. The prices went up, quantity went down in most fast foods restaurants. Hardess breakfast workers are to be commended.
I never mind paying higher prices for breakfast when it's quality and customer service is great and this particular place is where I find the best...
