Ok so boom...all new restaurants have their growing pains. I read the reviews before going and all of them were indicative of those pains where maybe a soft opening with close family and friends and a few special invited guests could have helped to give honest feedback before the internet got to them. My suggestion is to go! Experience it for yourself. They will only get better with time, more staffing, and feedback. So first:
What was great? 1) The food was great. The menu had some pretty good sounding items on it where I want to go back to try some other things. 2) My server Bri was outstanding! Protect her at all costs. She was some of everywhere and helped everyone. When we were sitting there for 10 minutes and not even greeted, I got Bri's attention and asked who our server was, she said she would go find her. We saw her looking everywhere for our server who was no where to be found. She came back and said "I'll just take care of yall because I can't find your server anywhere". As crowded as it was, she still made sure to check on us and she took great care of us despite the issues I'll discuss in the other parts of this review. 3) The hookah was also great. Nice and strong and flavorful. 4) The atmosphere was dope. Plenty of space. The sections were set up nicely. The lighting was good. Good ventilation. I'd pick this place over Hookah House any day.
What was bad? 1) The missing in action server. After 30 minutes of being there the missing server appears to take our drink order. We were like, "someone already got us". Then she had the nerve to look confused about which section she had. Like Maam...where have you been?? The other table in her section was confused too. So not all servers were created Briqually. 2) The DJ. He played ok songs but he could not mix to save his life. Songs did not flow or go together. He played slow songs after hype songs, and it was just a whole NO. The music is loud so if you're coming for a night of romance, this aint it at least after 7pm. 3) The cash only cover charge. Ok I get certain places want to charge a cover to keep the riff raff out. But cash only?? All these apps out here in 2023 and it's a cash only door?? Not cool. We had to leave, go get cash and come back. So if you're arriving at 7pm or later, bring cash. They take cards inside but the door is cash only. 4) The bar and food timing. Both the bar and kitchen got so backed up it was taking and hour plus to get food and drinks. We got there earlier so our drinks took about 30-40 minutes both orders. Food took an hour. Now the food and drinks were both delicious but if you don't want to wait that long then don't go. Or eat something quick before coming so you aren't hangry. 5) The service in VIP. We asked one of the employees the pricing of VIP and what it came with. He said $650 for a 12 seater, comes with 1 bottle and 2 hookahs, or $250 for a 6 seater, comes with 1 bottle and 1 hookah. Some sections were extra dry, no bottle and no hookah and their parties had been in place for over an hour. Eventually they got it but they'll definitely want to address that because VIP wants to feel like VIP.
Overall, definitely a must visit. Don't let the reviews scare you. Go, give grace, be patient, and give feedback. They will get better. I will definitely be back but earlier in the day, before 7pm and before the...
Read moređ¨THEFT AND FRAUDđ¨This has far been the WORST service Iâve received in years. The owner T.Johnson very unprofessional and doesnât know how to handle situations with personal account and information being compromised in his establishment. I went to have brunch with a friend, first off they had no bartender and the server made us clear to us the bartender didnât show up. We ordered appetizers and main course meals, the brisket was hard which we advise the server, nothing was offered in replacement, shrimp and grits entree was very oily, the sautĂŠed crab claws were cooked too long then we proceeded to order an alcohol beverage, mind you this is my first time visiting, I ordered Strawberry Hennessy Explosion it was very concentrated juice definitely not mixed well and my friend ordered a strawberry lemon drop which she said it tasted different from her previous drink keep in mind the server keeps coming over as if she was rushing us to âHURRY AND BUYâ. As we proceeded to check out I noticed my debit was being processed for two different amount than my ticket order to some random cash app. So of course we paid our tabs mine alone was $60+ As soon as I walked outside I called my bank to block my debit card. I revisited the restaurant to speak with manager, manager was understanding and her willingness to help was good then I proceeded to speak with owner âT.Johnsonâ he was acting like he was too busy to hear my concerns then proceeded to say very rudely that his company doesnât participate in cash app, whereas my debit card details was used to send someone I donât know funds from my account to cash app. So of course I had to get officials involved because the owner was raising his voice and being very unprofessional at this point. I arrived at brunch around 11:30am I wasted unnecessary time on a situation that couldâve been resolved in a matter of minutes by reviewing the surveillance the time I provided the sever with my card until I received it back. All Iâm saying is beware of transactions made in this establishment or just use cash. Iâll never spend another coin there, When management is messed up your entire business will follow I donât see this business making it to success in the upcoming year. I never leave reviews but the people of the community needs to know what is going on so be careful when you go to Infusion they will infused your account out of your money!!!!...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to Infusion last night for date night and the experience was disappointing. The set up is nice however there were several things that just didnât mesh. The table we originally were sat at could have cause a person to have a seizure, it was blinking an uncontrollable white light and the hostess wasnât able to readjust it. We moved to a high top bar area and then waited well over 20 minutes to receive our watered down drinks. I had a house margarita that tasted funny and my boyfriend had a liquid marijuana. The DJ played good music but the music was BLASTING! We yelled at each other the entire time because we couldnât hear. That may have worked for a packed Saturday but not for a Tuesday at 6:30PM. The waitresses were nice but they were all over the place. There were about 30 people in the restaurant and out of 6 girls walking around only 2 truly worked. We ordered an appetizer (Mozzarella sticks) and after about 25 minutes they came and were just okay.
After about 45 minutes our dinner came and it was a true let down. I ordered the $30 ribeye steak with a side salad and broccoli. I ordered my steak medium and received an over well done steak that was burnt and got harder as it got colder. My broccoli tasted like it had been soaking in salt water and while my salad looked nice, it wasnât nice. I also received a corner of dressing. My boyfriend wanted me to send the steak back but since I waited for an hour to get it, I didnât feel like waiting another hour for a better one. Plus I felt like it would not have made a difference, the new one would have been just as poor. My guy ordered the chicken alfredo pasta and added shrimp to it and never got the shrimp.he mentioned it wasnât spectacular either.
Overall the only cool thing was the playlist even though we left with headaches. If the owner could provide service that matches the ambiance, he/she may have something going. Otherwise they should just convert this to a hookah lounge. I was not pleased and would not recommend the restaurant to...
