From the moment my group arrived at front desk around 7:40, the lady seemed like she did not want to seat us. The place was relatively empty on a Sunday evening (now I know why), and we were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We ended up waiting no more than 10 minutes and we were led to a booth adjacent to spilled ice cream on the floor with a bull decor above our DIRTY table. After telling the lady we would like a different table, she laughed and told us that it would be a longer wait. We proceeded to sit down for about 30 MORE minutes without ANY service- just menus and the bull above our heads. Finally, a young man comes up that I had seen walk past us several times and would have never guessed that he worked here. He very casually asked us what we would like to drink. Our server proceeded to mispronounce shrimps as skrimps and other informal and poor annunciation while taking our order before leaving us with no service for about ANOTHER 30 minutes. At about 8:40 we get our bread, accompanied with dirty plates. Consequently, we ask for plastic utensils and our server abandoned us. We were waiting for so long that we had to ask another waiter to get us some clean plates and utensils and OUR DRINKS. The second waiter also did NOT appear to be a worker here (Durag and denim) but I digress- he explains that he could not put in another order for our drinks. Not to mention, he never wrote down any of our requests, so he kept having to come back because naturally he forgot! And unnaturally walked away speaking to us inaudibly! He informed us that they were out of chicken tenders, which is what my friend initially ordered. Then proceeded to say that there was no other chicken on the menu to suggest to my friend when I’m looking at the Parmesan crusted chicken on the menu WITH MY OWN EYES! The servers seemed very unsanitary as they put their hands in their pants, transferred food residue on plates with their dirty hands, refused to abide by the dress code wearing scarves and durags and having long hair not pulled back. Our food finally comes out at around 9 PM and was unsatisfactory. Henceforth, we asked for the manager. Of course the manager was not easily recognizable either which explains why the service here was so unprofessional. He past us several times as well and he never attended to us or any other tables unless he was serving them himself. When he approaches the table (at about 9:35) he doesn’t introduce him self nor does he ask about our food or experience here- he just kind of walked up and waited for us to speak as if something was wrong (even though just because you ask for the manager doesn’t innately mean that the service was bad). The manager replies to my comment of their very lackadaisical service and excuses that they were short staffed. It was very evident that the workers INCLUDING the manager needed more than extra staff but also needed more training and a general knowledge of the menu! The steak that my friend ordered was supposed to be medium WELL and it looked medium RARE when we addressed the manager (also unsanitary) about it, he was very combative, nonchalant, and defensive- claiming that it was medium well. My second friend ordered the bourbon salmon, and she explained to the manager that there was tomato residue on the side of her plate (from the workers dirty hands). The manager immediately states that the Bourbon has tomatoes on top of the salmon, which is clearly bs because there were NO TOMATOES on TOP of her actual salmon. My third friend had to order something else because they were out of chicken tenders and her food was unbearable. The broccoli was dirty and bland, the mashed potatoes were oozing out butter, and the Parmesan crusted chicken was poorly prepared. I even asked if they had a dress code and he said yes. I only seen about two employees dressed appropriately from head to toe! I proceeded to ask are hair scarves and durags permitted, and he said yes! Our complaints were concluded with “sorry about that” and he did not try to accommodate us in any way asking,...

Fast forward waiting on Check noticed discounts appreciative but I would have taken good service and food over all. Before leaving my husband and dad went to the bar to get a drink. They said that the bartender was very rude, my husband said that she took his order went like she was going to fix it but instead started waiting on someone else. My first experience and my last. General manager didn't even come over to atleast apologize for the service but instead that's not Tony's fault, Tony never apologized just only it's the cooks fault and I got super busy with 5 other tables but we were one of your five, manager never came back to let me know about croutons just went M.I.A., and bartender was rude. Read moreA Stellar Service - A Must-Visit! From the moment we stepped into The Longhorn Steakhouse on Eastern Blvd in Montgomery, AL, we knew we were in for a treat. But little did we know, our experience would be elevated to extraordinary heights by our server, Brandon. Brandon is a rare find in the bustling world of hospitality; his attention to detail, genuine care for his patrons, and professional handling of even the trickiest situations set him apart. During our visit, we witnessed first-hand his remarkable composure and grace. A minor hiccup occurred with another table, where a customer misplaced their payment card and unjustly faulted Brandon. Without skipping a beat, Brandon involved his manager to resolve the issue smoothly, all while maintaining his composure and focus on providing unparalleled service to us and others. His ability to manage the situation with such professionalism, without any public acknowledgment from his manager, spoke volumes of his character and dedication. Now, let's talk about the food, which was nothing short of spectacular. If you're a fan of the Parmesan chicken, do yourself a favor and ask for the Famous Spicy Bits sauce. It's an absolute game-changer – adding a delightful kick that elevates the dish to new heights. And don't even get me started on the broccoli; request it with garlic butter and a side of the spicy bits sauce, and you'll be in side dish heaven. These unique additions transformed great dishes into unforgettable ones. In conclusion, our visit to The Longhorn Steakhouse was a resounding success, thanks largely to Brandon's exceptional service and the culinary delights we enjoyed.
