Great food, good service. Dining options: Dine in, call ahead take out, take out What I liked: The whole catfish was fried in what I consider the correct southern style. It was served hot and the taste was correct for the region (it kinda reminds me of a church fish fry). The green beans were also cooked in a southern style (reminds me of church fellowship hall dinner). The coleslaw was mayonnaise based and the shredded lettuce still had a fresh crunch to it. The sweet tea was not overly sweet. The time waiting after entering my order was about 15 minutes. What needs improvement: There are no sweets on the menu (keep in mind that this is southern cuisine, there should always be something sweet like banana pudding). They need an actual sign to make it look more professional. The interior still has much of the layout of the previous restaurant, but it doesn't work as well for the format of this restaurant. Maybe change the floorplan a little so it feels and looks more cozy rather than empty. Overall first impression: Good concept and good food, the restaurant just needs to improve the atmosphere; also, add a big sign so people know who you are and that you're open, be proud of your brand and don't be shy to let everyone on the Atlanta Highway know you are here now (I live a block away and had no idea this restaurant was even a thing). If this restaurant doesn't make it, it will be due largely to lack of advertising and branding, because the food is good. Other suggestions to consider: Add beer to the menu and use some of the empty space to book a band for Friday and Saturday nights.

Place just opened a week previous. Pleasant surprise. It's in the old Mr. G's/Mr. Gus' location. Sams had a deal on 3 catfish filet, 3 shrimp, 3 WHOLE chicken wings, and 2 sides for $17. They brought out half a table of food. I should have started with the fries because they go cold fast, and the catfish and chicken was very hot (fresh). The chicken wings were on par with the wings at Burrell Inn in Pennsylvania (high praise) and the red beans and rice was as good or better than Popeye's. Fries were real fries, not those baked crinkle cut things. Definitely recommend. You could easily split this meal 2 or even 3 ways. If you're hungry and you like good food, go get some now.

Coming through the door my husband and I were greeted with smiles and welcoming. The place is clean and the atmosphere is pretty much laid back with mixture of music playing in background. Their menu is very selective. Our server, she was nice and attentive to our needs. The food was hot on arrival, tasteful and delicious and the price was reasonable. We will most definitely be returning to try other food. I’ll say a 5/5 no doubt.

Sooo my first experience with Sam's was in Selma, Alabama and it was amazing ....food was seasoned well, hot and delicious. Aye til I got sleepy. My next experience was in Enterprise, Alabama and the food was just as amazing there. Ate till I got sleepy. Well, Imagine the excitement when my momma told me there was a Sam's in Montgomery.....I hurried my lil chubby self on over there to get me some fried shrimp expecting the same amazing meal..... When albedarnit (yep, that's a southern word) my shrimp was breaded with not a lick of seasoning!!! I was so disappointed. If it had not been for the good tarter sauce it would have been like eating paper. That just made me wanna break up with Sam's just like that. Buttttt knowing me I'm gone give em one more chance.... Just one though. I'm not saying for you not to go by there... Especially if you alright with un-seasoned food....But I can't lie on this Google app so maybe on my next trip I will be able to update...

The two ladies working the diningroom tonight, 10/10/2024 were amazing!! I wasn't planning coming into the restaurant tonight but due to circumstances I was limited on choices. I'm so glad I did!! I was having a rough night and vented a bit, they listened to me and helped me with the menu. They were so friendly and played with my little baby ♡ I took a large meal home to my family and we enjoyed it ALL!! I hate that I didn't get their names but I do hope they get credit my experience!!! Great customer service and I will be back! The food of course was amazing as well. We ordered the whole chicken wings with fries, red beans and rice, hush puppies and cole slaw. 😋 Thank...
