Waffle House — Restaurant in Montgomery

I can say that this particular visit at this location has deeply scarred the great repor't and high esteem once held for WH. I usually order the same thing and it's breakfast food, how hard could it be to prepare? Literally I was there a week ago in the daytime and the food was delicious. But last night. No freaking way. We ordered 2 entree meals 2 waffles and 2 bowls of grits. My friend's steak and chilli hash brown bowl was such a disappointment for him. They made him wait an extra 20 minutes to prepare the chili, yet when we got home there was no chilli. To make matters worse as I'm going through the bag, there was a strong syrup smell and unusual stickiness to my surprise one of the syrup packs in the bag was already opened when the order was expedited. SMH so I had to wipe down all of the other condiments and utensils and food containers in the bottom of the bag... You know I'm so frustrated at that point. So I kind of was not hungry anymore plus that was allot of work. I decided to eat a portion and thought I can save the rest for breakfast in the morning, OMG forget the fact that my hash browns have burned to char diced onions in them, and the fact that my toast isn't toasted. Ladies and Gents, why was there a piece of someone's hair sealed in the rim lid of the grits? I was done, completely. I'm not one to take light to hair being any where near food, stove, fridge no where in the kitchen not even at the kitchen table " no. " 😣 If you visit this location please be cautious of what you're eating and know theres a greater certainty of a good visit in the daytime verses the "idk what is going on"...

Very bad service, first problem we had was the plastic ware we got at our table for dining in. Their was a box of place mats the server did not remove. When asked for silverware instead of plastic the server had an attitude. We placed our order, low and behold a table that came in after us received their food before us, when we did finally received our food their was no salt pepper or napkins at the table my wife got these things from another table. We were missing items we ordered and when we asked about them the server had a really bad attitude like we were inconveniencing her. She said out load so we could hear her. ( no no no I'm gonna ask if I can leave early today because I'm not having it today) she walked to the back office at that time I said to my wife she must be having a bad day, their was another employee that heard my comment and went straight back to the office and told the server and manager what I said, My wife heard the server tell the other server and manager what I said and that was the last straw! I WOULD NOT EAT AT THIS WAFFLE EVER! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT TURNED MY WIFE OF WAFFLE...

Stopped in to pick up an early morning Breakfast. Only one representative behind the counter. Five customers went in just ahead of me. The worker knew the customers so there was friendly chatter among them. Two additional workers came to the floor after the orders had been taken and the representative had started cooking the food. One of the employees started cleaning an area behind the counter and the initial employee made reference to him performing another task......that didn't go well. She turned to her friends ( the five) and started another conversation and this time she included some profanity that should never be spoken in the presence of customers. Just an ongoing conversation. I finally received my order, went to my car, only to determine my order was incomplete. This caused me to go back inside. She appeared to be offended because I came back. No, I wasn't loud or rude. She corrected my order without offering an apology. No Respect! No Professionalism! Every customer deserves First Class...
