Noodles cafe — Restaurant in Montgomery

We have been regulars here for the past 7 years!!!! Not so great anymore. Used to be our family's go to for lunch/ dinner whenever we wanted Thai around the area. Highly disappointed after tonight's dine in experience. My family of 8 got together this evening for dinner and got our usual: basil beef x2, red curry shrimp, chicken pad Thai, and chicken drunken noodles. Everything was up to par but the worst was the drunken noodles. So bad I couldn't even eat it. Usually it comes out smelling so good with the rice noodles laid out wide on the plate alongside all the yummy bell peppers looking extra wet. WRONG. Try... no aroma, burnt flavor, and super dry! I requested for them to make it again and I'm pretty sure they used the same plate and dumped their sauce to try and camouflage the taste. Could not fool me and noodles looked like they were tampered with- all broken and crushed almost! Very upsetting. Got it off the bill but that was not the point! Chef must have changed because another customer by us was complaining too about her food not being like before but was advised to come for lunch instead. Inconsistent!!!!! Had the worst experience ever dining, today. My friends and I went to eat for lunch and we all ordered pho along with other appetizers. I ordered the chicken spring rolls and a beef pho. All the others in my party received their appetizers and pho except for me. When I asked where my appetizer was, the waitress said it was coming and that they had a new guy in the back. When they brought out my spring roll it was shrimp instead of chicken. So they took it back. Next they brought out a vegetable pho when it was supposed to be beef. We stayed there for an hour and 20 minutes and I never got my food. Since my friends were done eating I asked them if they could give me the pho to go. When I suggested that I shouldn't have to pay for my pho, they said I wouldn't have to pay for it. But when I went up to the register they had charge me for it. It will be a long time before I go back to their again. There was no manager on duty so I hope they are reading this so they know what type of experience customers are having. The atmosphere is great. It is very calm and peaceful. The waitress was very pleasant. I was trying for the first time and was unsure of what to get. I got the Lunch rice noodle special with shrimp and steak. The food looked delicious when it came out. The first bite was absolutely dreadful! The red sauce on the dish was disgusting to my taste. I asked the waitress to remake minus the sauce. She said no refunds no exchange. I asked if I removed the protein can they make me plain noodles and bring me teriyaki sauce. She said her manager said no. Mind you I picked my 5 shrimp and 4 pieces of steak out and was willing to add it to plain noodles. She said she could bring me sauce to add to the existing nasty noodles????? Anyway, I paid $30 for a dish I couldn't even enjoy. I did take my protein in a to go plate home to wash off. Lol 😂.
