B's Greek grill — Restaurant in Monticello

I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. We walked in and there was nothing on the tables; no silverware, plates, cups, or napkins. The server was not friendly and she had to ask us more than 3 times what our order was. Then after ordering, we were told they didn't have enough Greek chicken to fulfill 3 orders, which is the reason we went to a Greek restaurant. After picking something else, we waited almost 30 minutes to receive cold food. One of the chicken orders had to be returned because it was cold and the accusatory staff response was "I don't see how that was possible since it just came off the grill". Two other orders that came out for our party were incorrect. No apologies were given. When I asked to see a summary of the charges on our check, I was accused of questioning the restaurant's honesty. Excuses were given; "The waitress is young, give her a break." And "We gave you a deal by not charging you for a full plate." All of this was said with an indifferent, condescending, disrespectful, and ignorant attitude; something I would not have expected with a restaurant only 6 months in business. So first off, the food tastes great. Great service as well.

Now for the bad. I have tried multiple things from here now and can say the cook needs some work. Every single meat was over cooked to the point of being dry. This includes the beef, grilled chicken, hot dog. The gyro meat was probably the best and not too dry thankfully.

THE BEST GYROS IN TOWN!! No one in a four County area even comes close! I can't wait to try other items on the menu! The Spinach Puffs were a nice surprise as well!! Growing up in Highland, IN, there was a place called Munster Gyros. They were the only place that gave you two pita breads because they gave you so much meat, you always needed a second pita! B's Greek Grill is now the only other place that gives you so much Gyros meat, they give you a second pita with their Gyros Plate dinner because you'll need it!! Absolutely, THE BEST!!!
