Janet's Intown Lounge — Restaurant in Monticello

Really love this bar, excellent bar tenders, they’re very friendly. Only problem is it can get very busy some nights with 50+ people and it’s not uncommon to see a fight break out. Or a group of underage comes in. They usually only staff one bartender so when this happens the whole place comes to a halt because it falls on the busy bartender to break it up and kick people out. I know stuff like that happens, but sometimes it leaves you feeling a little uneasy that things can escalate further because no one is there to stop it. 0/10 recommend if you arent one of the local bar flies. Numerous OSHA violations along with a blatant lack of adherence for the current state mandates and infection control requirements. The atmosphere was more of a high school vibe which is concerning considering the bartender didnt ID any of the patrons that walked in. Monticello being a "tourist" town brings people of all ages to the area so I would assume the lack of ID verification is the businesses way of ensuring they secure maximum profit despite state law. I came her from out of town. This was the only bar open at 11 PM. I sat down and the bartender was extremely rude. This was on 4/23/19. We ordered drinks. She aleast got those right. We then asked if the kitchen was opened. She said no the are only serving bags of chips. 5 minutes later a "townie" ask for a pizza and the bartender made it for her. I then asked the bartender how do I order a pizza? She literally told me to call pizza hut. These acts should and will...
