Worst experience ever!! The short story of it would be this morning I ordered a Smoothie for curbside pick up. I was late picking up the smoothie so I called and asked if it could be remade. The girl I spoke to told me no it should be fine 20 minutes after the fact that it was sitting there waiting for me to pick it up. I got in the car realized the smoothie was drippy and came in and asked if it could be remade again.Her manager came out and scorned me for asking if the drink could be remade n said “this is the last time that we will be able to remake a smoothie, we can’t just waste ingredients”. This was my first time being late and asking for a fresh drink. I’ve worked for coffee places in the past and when people ask for drinks to be made fresh I did not question or let them know what we couldn’t do I just did my best to do what I could to make their day go smooth because that was my job. The manager of the store is Bobby Lynn. After my experience with this store manager. I will not be returning to my old favorite smoothie place in my neighborhood. I am also a young African-American woman and I’m not sure if it was a race thing or not but it seemed so. I had also tipped before hand and again I am just highly disappointed with my experience. I was very patient and kind and asking them to remake my drink. The manager was very rude and unprofessional and displayed racism. I would not recommend this smoothie place to friends or family. Thanks to Bobby Lynn! And going based off of previous orders again I have never had a problem until today. Reply: now the manager wants to lie and say that I was being rude. No you were being racist! You’re just mad that I called you on it. I have also donated to several charities but I am not anyone’s charity especially when I am a customer. Tipping for a service that did not deserve a tip. Next time your tip of the day is treat everyone equally and you won’t be told that a customer will not return. Read moreI've gone to this location a handful of time and never had a problem but today was the first and last time I will be doing online ordering. I ordered 3 smoothies from the online site for pickup. It said my order would be ready at 1:05. My order wasn't ready when I got there which is fine I didn't mind waiting a little. I stood there for about 10 minutes before someone asked me what I was waiting on I told the girl I placed a online order and my name on the order she said she would take care of it. After another 10 mins someone else asked me what I was waiting for I told them what my order was and they started to make it. Then what I'm assuming was a manager came over and asked me if I had a receipt for my order and I said yes on my phone. I pulled up my order she looked at it and then walked away after another 15-20 minutes. She walked back out and said they couldn't find my order but she would write down my order information and let me take my smoothies. Now since i waited between 15-20 minutes for the manager to walk back out my smoothies were basically melted. I’ve only been here in the am so that’s the only staff I can relay any information about. They don’t greet when you walk in. They don’t try to start taking your order unless you approach or call after them. They don’t help you decide on anything. I hadn’t ever been to a tropical smoothie before starting to work out here recently and I happened to notice this plaza after dropping my client off at the airport, but now I frequent this place weekly. I now solely use the app, order, and just go pick up my stuff because like friendly, engaging environments and these folks just don’t have it. I don’t even want to sit in.
