Okay, my first review ever (that is how upset I am). I have had some hit and miss experiences here and usually avoid this place due to ethical reasons. For years I have heard many negative stories from the local community about how the owners treat their employees. Unfair, deceitful, uncaring, and much more. Ask around and you will discover that the narcissistic psycopathic energy of the owners is real and scary, but who cares about that when you are hungry right? (Just do not let your kids work here). For what it is worth, I hear the guy is alright and the woman excudes craziness. Anyway, It is close to home and I was starving so I decided to stop in... awful decision. Not only did I leave with cold food that took longer than it should have but I left in a bad mood thanks to the staffing. First, we got the wrong order and the woman argued with us about it, pointing out what it says on the reciept (she had the wrong reciept). While this is happening my food was sitting somewhere getting cold, and I knew it, so I asked if my food could be re-made fresh. I mean, no one wants to drop a couple twenties on cold food. She angrily assures me it would be. It was not. I could go on and on about what went wrong but I will not. Just know I did not recieve all my food, it was cold, and the attitude was so strong it is still ringing through my ears. Take my word for it and drive a little further if you want Sonic. You may have to wait but at least your food will be hot and the staff will not make...
Read moreAlways check your drink before leaving. This place has frustrated me through the years with that. It's either not what I asked for, its flat or it's all carbonation. Plenty of times they took the drink back to replace it with a coke that wasn't all carbonation and they would bring out the same thing so then they would go back and do it again. I always get the feeling they don't want to take the time to do their job and put a new bag or whatever in the machine. I'm sure they knowingly brought out many drinks that were like that. Most Sonics are bad about that so always check your drink at any sonic. You would think seeing no color coming out of the machine they would dump it and change the thing right away. Update: years later and now we have the app, but still get the drinks wrong and don't read what you want omitted from the items you order. When they came out with the new cheeseburgers I had to ask that everything but onion be taken off. What did I get everything on it...inedible. I tried a few more times and still end up with everything on it so I won't order cheeseburgers from there ever again. You would think actually reading the order would take less time than adding on all the junk we said we didn't want. Checking in as soon as the app allows sometimes gets your order out...
Read moreWent to this sonic tonight, ordered two kids meals and three adult meals to include their #5 chicken fried steak sandwich. Got home and realized that my onion rings and cherry limeade were there, but not the sandwich. At this point I also realized they had not given me a receipt. Wonderful. But it had only been about 20 minutes and I had the transaction ID on my card app to prove I was there. I scarfed down my onion rings while they where hot and put my limeade in the fridge since I figured it would be quick. Got up there and pushed the button. Let the guy know what happened. He sent the manager out who said his name was Michael. Michael informed me that they had not had that sandwich for 3 days and that without the “conveniently” missing receipt that I wasn’t given, he couldn’t do anything. I told him he should be able to look it up off of the transaction amount but he refused. My wife was with me and can verify that they sure did take my order for the item they suddenly don’t have. I was at least able to get the 1800mysonic number out of him as well at the GM’s name Clint Bratcher. I’ll definitely be calling and maybe update the 1...
