Blueberry Hill Pancake House — Restaurant in Mooresville

Came on a Sunday afternoon about 1230pm, was quoted 35 minute wait. We only waited 15 minutes. The place was packed, but after eating here I understand they are very efficient. Sara was our waitress, super nice, and friendly. I ordered Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly, yolk ran when cutting through. It had a nice thick cut of round canadian bacon, and the hollandaise sauce had the perfect taste. Not pasty or lemon. It came with hashbrowns those were cooked perfect, crispy but not greasy. I also ordered blueberry pancakes with blueberry glaze. The picture on the menu looks exactly like the plate. You can have blueberry cooked inside, and on top. My other half got Sirloin, eggs, and hashbrowns. It also came with this really nice thick toast. You have a choice of ribeye or sirloin. Get it medium rare it will always be more on the medium side with little pink. As we were leaving this nice lady to the table next to us got fried chicken. I first want to start out by saying I was HIGHLY disappointed with my front register service. The customer service is horrible and it came from a specific young girl at the front register. She didn’t even ask us for our bill, she stuck her hand out and then snatched it from my grandmother’s hand. Apparently there was a mistake that came from our waitress and she didn’t add up our total (which we weren’t concerned about because she had let us know she’s a newer waitress) the young woman up front proceeded to look at our bill and talk badly about our waitress in front of customers and her coworkers. We paid our bill and left but we overheard the young woman mumble. I had called and asked for a manager which I was told there wasn’t one available. I asked for a note to be left with my name, number and concern as to why I was calling. I’m disappointed at the fact I’ve never received a call and this was almost two weeks ago. I have avoid this place for a long time as I had bad experience with the food before, but the other day the family decide to come here after a funeral and the food was great. So the wife and I came here today and she had the grilled chicken bacon ranch. I got the shredded BBQ pork, and Mozzarella cheesesticks. The cheesesticks were great the oil they used was clean and came out golden and not over cooked. The shredded Pork BBQ was real pork not like Llyods BBQ and the BBQ sause seemed homemade sweet and tangy with molasses. The grilled chicken was juice not tough around the outsides. Our waitress was great and had a personality and wasn't just serving the food hating their job. Overall great experience from the time we walked in to the time we left.
