Iguanas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Mooresville

Went for lunch met a couple friends with my husband. My husband and I walked in. There was 2 tables full so about 6 orv7 people total. 4 of them were leaving when our friends showed up. So by the time we ordered a couplevwith a child walks in. We order drinks they come. We order food. Our friends food comes. Looks good. Shrimp cocktail and a simple chicken burrito. Our food is no where. It took another 5 mins for my birria pizza. It was cold. The commsome soup u dip it in was hot. There was barely any meat in it. My husband finally gets his 13.00 spicy burrito, and it's smaller and has less chicken in it than the simple chicken burrito. My husband asked if it was a lunch portion, and she said no, they don't have a lunch portion. Ok, so where's the rest of the burrito.. lol.. my husband told the lady it was fine he just wouldn't be back ... they took his burrito off the bill. Food is tasty, and they said they have the best prices around. We agree that's why we came. But less price with less food I'd rather pay more. Hence why I got the expensive pizza. I went onto Mooresville's Iguana's website to place a pickup order. The site wouldn't allow me to create a profile so I checked out as a guest, but was able to put in my email address. I ordered dinner for my boyfriend and I which came to a total of $26 and some change. After I paid for the order the site stated the order was completed and my order would be ready in 15-25 minutes. My boyfriend showed up to pick up the order, and the staff stated they had not received an online order. Their online ordering site did not send me text confirmation nor an email confirmation. However, my bank card was charged! My boyfriend showed the staff the bank statement showing the pending charge for their site, and the staff still refused to acknowledge an order had been placed. Staff was very rude, and was unwilling to try and make this right. They even had the nerve to ask him if he wanted to place an order! Um, No! I already placed and paid for an order that you are not giving me! I am now going to have to dispute the charge with my bank! Beware of placing online orders with...

Music was blasting Waitress was mia for 30+minutes We wanted a refill of chips but after 20 minutes you know - you’re no longer hungry. Maybe I should thank her that I wasted the rest of the salsa and queso.

Then another waitress came by like umm excuse me- and took our dirty plates and she asked if we wanted more chips or not when she was bussin the tables- it wasn’t even her job or table so she won’t get to partake the tip.

This probably isn’t the right job for her- or she is having a hard day and should have called out.
