Great China — Restaurant in Mooresville

We ordered here from DoorDash and my wife ordered a bunch of food. I’m sitting here extremely hungry, I ordered chicken fried rice, General chicken with chicken fried rice. And my family ordered other things, when the food got here, the chicken fried rice had chicken but pork in it. I don’t eat pork. It makes me sick. I can’t eat anything that has pork in it, or has touched pork. It will make me very ill. All the rice and every dish that I asked for chicken fried rice had chicken and pork in it. I called The guy and he was polite and offered me a replacement chicken fried rice, but he would’ve had to replace my whole meal and I ordered from DoorDash so I wouldn’t have to drive and go get it. He said there was a new Cook but my thing is, that is a very dangerous thing you’re doing. You could really hurt a lot of people if they start eating that rice thinking it’s just chicken in it and it has pork in it. You can make some people very sick and angry. That’s not a mistake that should be made. That’s a very serious cross-contamination issue, there’s no excuse for that. The only reason I gave this two stars was because my family enjoyed their meal, and the man who answered the phone, at least attempted to make it right. But the damage is done, I’ll never...

I’ve been going here for almost 13 years. I’d say over the past 5 years or so it’s been steadily going down, and I keep saying this is the last time I’m gonna order from here, but this is it. I’m really done. I just had the worst lo mein I’ve ever tasted. Supposed to be chicken lo mein with xtra veggies.

I got a container full of nearly dry, mushy, badly overcooked noodles, huge pieces of barely cooked broccoli, a skimpy amount of tasteless chicken, and a few ribbons of cabbage here and there, and zero sauce besides what was stuck on the noodles. Nothing even drips if you turn it upside down. That’s IT. Not even the usual veggies, let alone the extra. It was awful. I got a large and 2 egg rolls so I could eat the leftovers the next few days. Ruined my lunch and totally wasted my $21.

Never ever again. I mean...

The one star is because the owner refunded me my money.... I do not recommend going here for lunch or dinner. The people working are nice, however the food is not. I ordered spicy shrimp with fried rice..the combo's come with fried rice...they charged me extra for the rice smh they gave me 5 jumbo unpeeled shrimps...who wants that!?! Our general TSO chicken had bones in it, now I've eaten this particular meal my whole life from many many restaurants..never gotten bones in it. The store itself needs a serious update. The food pictures on the wall are so washed out and old that you can't tell what's even in the picture. Maybe once upon a time it was really good, or maybe I just went on their one bad day...
