Chiapas Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Moraine

My husband took his mom and I out to lunch/dinner after church with our young son for Mother's Day. A friend suggested Chiapas. I am so glad she did! I personally think that Chiapas is the absolute best Mexican restaurant around. Yesterday was our first time there and I for one, can't wait to go back! I wish I could remember our server's name but he was wonderful! He was attentive without being bothersome, helpful with pronouncing dishes without making us feel dumb. The food was so delicious. Normally when we go to a Mexican restaurant we take home some of our food. Not yesterday! Our plates were empty when we left which kinda made me sad that I wouldn't have leftovers, but that's ok. We were made to feel welcome and the best part is that all Mom's got 50% off their meal which was very generous. Thank you for an amazing experience! My one and only complaint was that it was pretty noisy but it was a special day and crowded but my son who is autistic was a little anxious. Even with being anxious he's even excited...

Went inside and could not get seated at 3:00 pm.and the place had nobody at the hostess station or anywhere that I could find. After waiting I finally had one employee walk by me. I made eye contact and she kept walking. Looked into the kitchen saw an employee and made eye contact on two occasions and she looked away and ignored me. Walked past hostess station and into the bar and could not get anyone's attention. After being ignored I went to another restraunt (Bonefish Grill)and spent $79.00 and gave the waiter a $25.00 tip. With restaurants struggling I have been trying to visit them more often and give generous tips. I will never go back to Chiapas. Completely ignored. Do not reccomend. I did find two employess out back smoking and tried to explain my disappointment but they couldn't...

I lived in Dayton oh and there is no good Mexican restaurants but I search online for this place and try out the tacos had a pick up order and even told the owner it was my first time and he said u would like it u are going to come back yesterday was my second time I really highly recommend this place is very authentic Mexican food I order steak chorizo al pastor and fish tacos the chorizo was too salty so I didn’t order those no more but fish steak and al pastor tacos I would give u guys a 10 I loved this tacos also I got to see if someone has a birthday they come and sing to you which is nice from a place I’m the entrance they have a beautiful charra I fell in love with it keep up the good...
