Ish is wonderful, but the constant turn over of employees creates a problem with orders being correct. There are some employees working there that are from the old location. These need to be "in charge" as they know the customers, and seem to pay attention. The person working the window needs to pass any special instructions on to a responsible person who will carry that order out. Too many mistakes. I live 20 minutes away and although we come into town several times a week it is very disappointing to come home with an Ice Tea that is supposed to be "unsweetened" and find that it is sweet tea. Being diabetic this is hazardous to my health. It is more than just replacing the tea... it's the total lack of care in processing orders correctly.
Just yesterday I was at this location twice. Once at about 11am, and then following my errands, returned to get my wife something before heading home. We are good patrons.
Ish is a great manager, and I know he will take care of this. But having the most responsible staff working the IN window is a good idea. Let the newbies work the line and the OUT window supervised by someone who will make sure the orders are prepared correctly.
Many times I try the tea before leaving the window... just because it happens too often... but this is not my job. It should be correct as presented. The customer shouldn't have to check the food and drink for correctness.
This one will cost you...
Read moreMy best friend and I ordered from here on Doordash. Placed about a 30$ order. Enough food for us to snack on throughout the day. Well, we tried to order a couple of sides of honey mustard and realized we didn't have the option to order them. No big deal we thought. We'd just call the store, add on the orders of honey mustard and patiently wait for our order to arrive. Instead, we encountered the rudest, laziest, most unprofessional staff we have ever dealt with. We were told that the fact we couldn't order honey mustard online was quote, "not my problem", and hung up on. We attempted to call back several times to speak to a manager and when they finally answered, they threatened to call the cops on us for harassment. He and I have worked in the restaurant business for a combined 35 years now and we had no problem whatsoever paying for our sides of honey mustard, we understand that every single thing in that restaurant costs the ownership money and the only way to turn a prophet is to charge for said items. We would have gladly paid the costs but the way we were treated was absolutely unnecessary and unreasonable and I personally will never eat here again. Their managment is an absolute joke and their staff could use a few lessons on customer service. Horrible staff, horrible...
Read moreThis has got to be the worst Bojangles I’ve ever been to. I would rather drive 25 minutes away to the one in cape Carteret then come back here. It took about 20 minutes to get through the drive-thru, which was fine, I get it if they are short staffed and running behind.
When I pull up to the window, the girl who was handing me my food was being so rude about another CUSTOMER! She was saying “you better come up here and take my spot for this next car or I’m bout to jump out of this window and slap her” to her coworker. I get my food and start to drive off and realize they gave me bo-rounds instead of fries. Looking at other reviews, obviously quality control is an issue at this restaurant. So I pull up and go inside to get my order fixed.
I go inside and head over to where you pick up your order. Nobody acknowledges me. I asked excuse me after waiting a few minutes. The lady says what? I said I ordered fries not bo-rounds. She straight up told me to get in the back of the line. Behind probably 10 people waiting in line to order. After I already waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru for the incorrect order. It was mind blowing. I just straight up left without my order that I paid for. The manager here really needs to retrain this staff, I will never...
