Boss Boba Tea & Ramen — Restaurant in Morehead City

Not very happy with y’all, we used to love coming here because y’all do have the best boba in Morehead but y’all’s service today was unacceptable. 4 of us went in went in my girlfriend, her sister and her sisters friend (who we’ll call Betty) and myself. We had all made our drinks and when we were about to leave when Betty passes out and collapses due to medical issues. She did drop and spill her drin, I let the lady working know and I even offer to help clean, after that I return to my girlfriend and her sister helping Betty get off the ground meanwhile Betty was confused and upset and just wanted her drink so I asked the lady very politely might I say “hey do you think she could get another drink when she come to” and this lady had the audacity to smack her lips before saying “yea if she feels like buying one” that is completely unacceptable we completely understand it like being a company thing saying you can’t give away a drink like that but that’s not what we’re upset about we bought another drink thats not why we are upset, we’re upset because she like I said SMACKED HER LIPS and said “ yea...

It was not at all what I was expecting for a Boba Tea spot, and I’ve been to a few. The atmosphere is clean, but it has more of a gas station feel than a “cafe” with the prepackaged snacks in the middle and Boba self serve to the side. Presentation can certainly be improved upon.

The self serve bar is a cool concept, but for those that know nothing about Boba Tea and complimenting the boba with the tea flavor, it could keep them from returning. Maybe offer some suggestions near the toppings? I do like that there are non dairy options, so that’s a plus!

The matcha was a little sweet for my preference, but ok. I’m not sure I’d return for the price of what I’m getting, but I do hope they can...

I love the idea of this self serve boba place. The staff were friendly and informative .You pick your size cup, medium ($6.95) or large ($8.95) and you can add anything that you want to your choice of tea or frozen mix. They have a lot of boba topping options like mini boba, popping boba, mango jellies, strawberries and more. There are also a lot of syrup options like peach and pomegranate. I made myself a flower and Thai tea boba drink with dragon fruit popping boba and mango jellies. It was very good ! They also have boba for sale on the shelf as well as other Asian snacks.
