From the outside of the restaurant, we weren't sure whether we should go in. It has a very nondescript store front. Inside is a different story. The interior is warm and inviting. I would place this a step up from the typical walk-up Japanese hibachi style restaurants. I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium-rare. It was medium-well. Somewhat bland, lacked flavor. Way too much rice and could've used more veggies. The house soup was delicious. The ginger dressing was very tasty. However, it was way too sweet. Our server, Nicole did an excellent job.

Freshest sushi I’ve ever had. The roll I order is t usually on the menu anywhere, but they special made it which was almost enough to have won me over, but the winner was how fresh it was, and absolutely delicious. The miso soup was some of the best I’ve ever had, so much so that I wish I would’ve ordered a second bowl. Definitely earned me as a new frequent customer. Highly recommend. Also the prices are great, I got two rolls with spicy mayo on the side and a miso soup for $15 tip included.

Great place to eat with a great lunch price! Sushi rolls (specialty rolks) are good and fairly priced. Lunch special was good as well and was definitely the size of a special but it was under $10! I was expecting to pay a lot more. The fried rice was more or less just brown rice but it cane with soup or salad and the chicken was overcooked but not bad. Very clean inside and fast service... Will be back for sure...

I get restaurants cost have gone up and they are trying to continue to make profit but a mandatory 21% service charge(3% for cc card and 18% bc we had 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 3) is a bit extreme. It didn’t matter that on my ticket there was 5 people and the other person 1. We were told next time sit at different table for a graduation celebration to avoid the 18% fee. Defeats the purpose and extremely greedy.

To add insult to injury the shrimp was over cooked and rubbery and when I order hibachi chicken and shrimp the waitress brought out teriyaki chicken and hibachi shrimp. She tried to tell me when a customer orders the Hibachi chicken/shrimp combo it always comes out with teriyaki sauce on the chicken. We have been to this restaurant for almost 5 years and I have never ordered hibachi chicken and it came out with teriyaki sauce on it.

In response to the restaurant 3% for non cash transactions is a credit card fee no matter how you try to say it.

If I had 6 adults I might of understood but you had a 2yr old eating off an adults’ plate entree, a child’s plate(8yr old) and 3 orders of sushi with a side of rice charging us $91. We were in and out of your restaurant in 40mins and other than taking the order the only other time I saw the waitress was when she brought the food out and brought the ticket. She never asked if we needed drink refills or anything else.

That’s pure greed no matter how you break it down. If I had ordered the same thing for pickup that 21% fee wouldn’t have been charged bc we order the same thing every time for pick up and it comes out to about $65.

Customers need to be aware of the total cost you’ll pay if you have toddlers or infants eating from an adults plate and at nearly $23/person when one is only 8yrs old you may want to consider a more reasonable restaurants who will not only give you reasonable pricing but give you quality food and service for what your being asked to pay. At that price break down I expect better food and service than what I’d get up the road at the Chinese buffet. I spent $250 this past weekend for my wife and I to go to Prime Bistro up the road but the food was great, the service was outstanding and I saw value in the $125/person fee. It’s not about the money but the principal and what you get...

I used to work at Minodas Japanese Steakhouse in MHC and there were several times when it was so busy and the quality if my service suffered from it. So I understand that today it was busy and the wait staff is stressed. This is by far the worst service I have ever gotten at Musashis in MHC. I and a 4 top with children were sat at the same time adjacent to each other. It was several minutes before anyone came to our tables to get our drinks orders and I allowed the waitress to go to the other table first to get their order taken because they had children. We received our drinks at about the same time and it was several more minutes before she came back to get my food order. 15 minutes later the table across from me had been served their soup, salads and appetizers and I still had not. Another 10 minutes passed and the waitress brought out my main course. I had no silverware yet, no appetizer, soup, or salad, which I then asked her for. I have had to flag down another waitress for chopsticks, and a little bowl for sauces for my sushi, which was incorrect when i recieved it. So now that I have finished the first course of my meal, my main dish has gotten cold. This is most definitely not an authentic Japanese experience or the correct way of serving a Japanese meal. I have always loved this place since highschool but I have always had issues with the wait staff. I do not believe they are being properly trained. I'm also not sure what was going on because the boss was walking around shoving tip money in his pocket which just makes me uncomfortable. I'm going to tip the poor girl because she was as nice as can be but I think that I am done with this restaurant...

We have been here a few times with great food and service but tonight was not the case! We went in instead of ordering out like we normally do and we had this ash brown brown hair waitress ( I can't remember her name) my drink sat empty for over 10 minutes. And everytime she would come to our table she dropped it off and took off without us being able to talk to her. She then brought us our check and to go box without asking if we wanted dessert ( we did) and had to ask her which wasn't really a problem but..... anyway, as she walked away me and my husband went over the check and realized that we were overcharged for his sake which on the menu said 4$ something and she charged us over $10 we said something and she said that's the price now and didn't fix the price. I'm a little upset on every menu they have it's $4 and they recently changed the price without informing us and charged us a entirely different price. I understand if you changed the price and size but if you don't inform the customer and they expect one price and get charged over $7 extra you understand the shock. Very disappointed! She didn't really do anything about it, and I even found myself saying over and over there was one little very pretty pregnant girl waitressing " I wish she was our waitress " because she was always checking in on her customers and refilling their drinks and taking time with them! Overall will only be doing take out....
