Taco Bell — Restaurant in Morehead City

I LOVE TACO BELL. The Morehead City store gives this franchise a bad name. This has to be the worst Taco Bell ever. When you can catch them open (hours vary from day to day, sometimes they do breakfast, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they are open until 11pm as it says on google, sometimes they close as early as 7pm.) they make the food wrong (We once got several of the chicken chipotle wraps and they were all made like soft tacos, one was made like an inside out taco with the chicken on the outside.). Breakfast items advertised on their windows and menu board yet they (most of the time) are not open for breakfast. You never see the same people in there working twice. The dining room is open even more variable hours. Sometimes we try to order online and it says at checkout that items we have ordered are unavailable only to find out when we get to the store that they are available. We have also ordered online only to find out when we got there the location had closed several hours before hand (still not sure if I paid for that order we never received). WE MUST BE STUPID: I am not sure why we keep trying to go there other than the fact that I love Taco Bell and I think there is no way this low standard can continue and THIS TIME things will be right finally only to be disappointed again. Have frequented the Beaufort, Havelock, and Swansboro Taco Bells and have found all of them to be excellent in food and service (and consistency of hours of operation). How can all these nearby locations get things so right when this location consistently gets things so wrong? I THINK IT'S BEYOND FIXING AT THIS POINT: This location needs a regime change or please just spare us all and close up shop and leave Morehead. Make us drive out of town... the extra drive will stink but at least we will be happy with our...

I just want to start off by saying this is one of the absolute WORST taco bells I've ever been to. I come here as a customer and a doordasher almost daily. Everytime I come here the some of the employees and management staff are rude and disrespectful to their doordashers. For example, the other day there was a female doordasher that was grabbing extra sauce for her customer as they had requested from the dispenser in the dining room. And she was accused of stealing sauces. Like come now. Yall give out 20-30 little sauce packets to every customer, day in and day out. And yall are gonna accuse someone of stealing them? And a doordasher at that? Ridiculous. Then not only that but they also have a couple of employees that literally move at the pace of a sloth. Also, every single time I walk in there it stinks something horrible. Definitely makes me not want to even walk in there. I know for a fact also, that several customers and doordashers have called the corporate line for taco bell to complain about this particular store, and it all seems to be a waste of time, effort, and breath. The employees and management need a serious overhaul and attitude adjustment. More and more doordashers are now refusing to accept orders at this store. And it's only going to get worse. Sadly thus particular Taco Bell has consistently failed at making a bean and cheese burrito. No sauce no onions. I've ordered them like this for years and this is the ONLY Taco Bell that has consistently sold me bean and cheese that is dry and crusty, the tortilla starts to come apart like it's old. It's like no one but me has been served all day beans and the literally scrape the top of the bean vat that's old and crusty in a clump in my burrito tortilla in a ball then wrap a half warm old tortilla around it.

The staff is nice, the service is relatively fast, very friendly, and the Mexican pizzas they served were fine but the reason I go to tacobell is for my beans and no Taco Bell on we art has made me decide I hate going there because it tastes and feels like they haven't cleaned the vat in decades and serve crusty dried Un mixed beans in a old nasty shell that peels apart as you eat it like old bread.

I know Taco Bell isnt known for high quality food, but I've been frequenting this Taco Bell for a year and it's ridiculous that the same experience has happened over and over. I love Taco Bell, I won't stop eating Taco Bell. Just in a different city though. These guys just cannot seem to make the food correctly despite their niceness...
