We visit Dunkin’ on a regular basis. We visited this morning and got drinks with no cream in them like we ordered. We went inside and waited 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged. We went later in the afternoon and placed mobile orders. When we got to the window, we were informed that the store was out of cold brew. We asked if a refund was possible, the young male working stated we could do it on the app and proceeded to shut the drive thru window. We wanted our drinks to be made with iced coffee, but the male never came back to the window. After sitting about two minutes, a female came to the window and asked us to move. I stated “ok” and stated we just wanted our drinks made with iced coffee. She turned around to the male employee and stated “she said ok”, as if I was refusing to move. We explained that we wanted our drinks made with iced coffee. She made the drinks and brought them back. I apologized for the misunderstanding & stated I was just waiting to inform someone of how I wanted rectify my order. The lady then shook her head and did not respond. Read moreI would give less than 1-star if I could. I was spoken to ugly because they lost my order for a meeting that I placed in advance. I am requesting to speak with the store GM and regional manager. I was told, "I should go to a real bakery" by the employees. It was totally unacceptable the way I was treated by incompetent staff. Let's be clear this starts at the corporate level with training. I manage large resorts, and we are all short staffed. If a member of my staff raised their voice and spoke to a client in that manner, it would be grounds for immediate termination. When I explained I manage resort properties with limited staff and I appreciate it's difficult working in customer service, I was told, "Well, good for you" by employees. $120 I will never give to this ungrateful company again! I work closely with the local Burke COC and want to see all small businesses in Morganton thrive, but this was a horrible experience and not a good representation of Burke County small business. Read moreI was traveling and stoped by this Dunkin’s on 7/8/24. . I asked a young boy Chris about question related to online order. He said that he doesn’t know any thing about online order. I ordered hot tea. He poured hot water to almost top rim and didn’t close the cap tight. When I hold the cup n walked. It spilled out of the cup and burned my thumb. He obviously lack of training and neglect the customers. My finger immediately red and swollen. It was painful. talked to the young girl who works there to see if I can talk to manager. She said that manager doesn’t have physical phone number and will be back to work next day. Chris never made apology and was hiding inside. I am very upset for the poor management and bad quality of employee. After burn incident, the other two young girl didn’t say any thing about it. They just keep silent . It is customer safety issue.
