I'm saddened by the consistantly declining services at the only Hardee's located in Morgantown WV. My family and I use to enjoy the experience of a good hot meal served by a polite and conscientious staff here. Recently we went to our favorite fast food restaurant and ordered our meals at the drive thru. Notably we seen that they were not busy at all. Unfortunately after parking to eat we found that everyone of our 3 orders were wrong. Calmly I called from their parking lot as I drove back around the building to the drive thru just as I was speaking to the supposed supervisor whom had told me the problem would be fixed. Moments later we arrived at the window were I explained the situation to the employee whom seemed confused and disoriented then abruptly the window was shut in my face. 11 minutes later a gentleman with a tie and no name tag on appeared asking what the problem was. I explained for the 3rd time stating I believed I had just spoke to him I believed. At that time he rudely said give me your bags if food then, so I did. He closed the window, 8 minutes later he came back empty handed. Stood there a few minutes looking at the register then he opened the window and said if you ordered from here then where is your receipt? I said well you didn't ask for it earlier you just wanted the bags of wrong food back. I then handed him the receipt that amounted to $42.?? Aftet waiting 12 more minutes 2 bags of food was shoved at me and the window slammed shut. Unfortunately the order was wrong again but by this time the kids were starving so I decided to drive across the street to Wendy's. I've tried calling the store on several occasions but my calls go unanswered plus I no longer have my receipt because the man took it so I have no proof of my purchase. We...
Read moreOnly two employees working at 6 p.m. We stood at the register for a few minutes before anyone even noticed us. We started making loud noise so they'd hear us. Finally someone noticed us but motioned for us to 'just give them a minute'. So, we continued to wait. The employee came up to the register soon after that and just looked at us, no "hello, how may I help you?", no "welcome!", no apology for the wait, not a word. Just stood there and stared expectantly at us. So we ordered. As we were trying to place our order, the other employee in the back kept yelling at her to come here/hurry up. In her defense I don't think she knew there were customers inside, but still! It was very rude. The employee trying to take our order kept laughing uncomfortably, then finally poked her head into the back and said quietly "Just a minute!", then returned to the register. The employee in the back continued yelling. We finished placing our order. Went and sat down. We could hear the employee in the back randomly swearing throughout our entire visit. The employee that took our order brought the food out to our table, surprisingly within 8-10 minutes. The burger was okay, a little less than average. The fries had the distinct taste of being in oil for a long time. That's when I noticed no condiments available. So, I went up to the front and waited. She stopped and just looked at me. I asked if I could have ketchup and she handed me three packets. I said "Thank you." No response, she just rushed away. We finished our meal and left. Read moreSecond visit to this location. First time it was with my daughter, Kathy was very rude and huffy. This time I brought my 82 year old Mother as a treat. Again Kathy was rude and huffing while taking our order. When I drove to the window my Mother was smoking in the passenger seat. Kathy immediately started telling her to put out her cigarette. Not in a nice way either. My Mother can’t hear well, and leaned forward to hear again, Kathy again said rudely put out your cigarette. I would have gladly asked my Mom to put it out given the chance. Kathy said pull up and I’ll bring your food out to you. I then got out my phone to fill this out and she walked back to the window opened it up and said, DO YOU WANT MY NAME. I said no, I don’t need your name Kathy. I pulled forward and when she brought out our food she said it’s unacceptable that you were smoking and it was coming in the window. Enjoy your food and continued to talk as she walked away. Again, if she would have been more kind, patient, and not huffing around and given me time to ask my Mom to put out her cigarette I would have. I get it some people are sensitive to smoke. But goodness , give a person a chance to respond. The first visit my 9 year old daughter and I pulled to the window and Kathy again hugging angrily said we don’t have chicken tenders.
