Very disappointed in this restaurant. I made reservations at 7pm for two people this past Saturday, probably a week and a half in advance. We walk in, and another couple walks in right behind us. The host walks up, no greeting at all. Sits the couple down that walked in after us, then sat us. Never once asked if we had a reservation. Ok horrible first impression but still optimistic. We sit down, place our orders. Patiently waiting, we receive our appetizer. Calamari was disgusting. At this point it is past 8pm, (reservations were at 7) another couple was sat behind us near the wall. They got both of their entire meals before we got our food and they were sat probably 30-40 minutes after we were!!!! Now, to the food. Of course ordering any well done meat takes longer, by the time we got our food around 8:20 pm our filets were BURNT TO THE CRISP! By the time I got my food home it was a literal hockey puck. While I would have loved to voice these concerns in person to an owner, the guy that was walking around checking on tables completely skipped our table and went to the table that was seated near the wall, that was seated after we were, and received their food before us! SHOCKED AND SPEECHLESS! I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and to think I only came because this was recommended to me. Our waitress was not pleasant. Read moreThis establishment is the definition of a hard working family who has a dream and won’t stop till they reach it! If you go on a busy night there will be a wait which is perfectly fine by me! I waited patiently for my fresh ribeye that was practically made at the table and cooked perfectly. The mussels were to die for and do not I repeat DO NOT skip out on the fresh homemade ice cream at the end because when I tell you flavor explosion I am not fibbing! If you stay around long enough you might even get to meet the whole Vanessa family. Sitting and talking with Vanessa’s boys about how much they love to cook and be around food let’s me know that this is a full on passion for everyone in her life❤️ Vanessa’s husband took time out of their busy night to let every table know they were seen and heard and the team was working tirelessly to make them the perfect meal. Read moreQuality new addition to the Morgantown dining scene. It’s located on the ground floor of the Seneca center. There are stairs on the side of the building leading down to the storefront. The steamed clams with focaccia were tender and delicious. The fried chicken was one of the best I’ve ever had. The French onion soup, sautéed veggies, smashed potatoes, and steak fries were good as well. Unfortunately, they were out of rainbow trout and branzino. Wasn’t a huge fan of the sweet cherry sauce for the snapper, but I’m partial to savory. Excited for when they rollout the pick your fish and cooking style “from the fish case,” assuming it’ll be fresh, live fish. Everything is also fresher than most places in Morgantown. The food is made from scratch and never frozen, which is extremely rare for inland restaurants IMO. Also the prices are fair, especially b/c the portions are sizable. Definitely...
