Aurelio's Pizza Morris — Restaurant in Morris

Location says it’s open until 9. Walked in at 8:05. The bar is right up front and there were 7very loud people drinking and carrying on. The bartender totally ignored us as we stood waiting to be seated. Another employee came out gave several patrons hugs and everyone was very loud and apparently drunk. The bartender then came up to us and said the dining room closed at 8- only the bar is open now. The food at the old location was never very good but we were going to try it again. Obviously they are a bar first and food if you get there in time. Good luck to them.

UPDATE-took 10months before we went back to try again (that is marketing data for you btw) and when we did, it was not great. The waitress was very nice and the breadsticks (not free) were good. The rest of the food was not. What kind of cheese are they using on their pizza? The people at our table decided it was either provolone or goat. Absolutely 100% not mozzarella. It looked and tasted disgusting and had a gross aftertaste . The cheese sticks were not very good and the Italian beef, although stuffed with meat, was still red, cold and served with chips. Way too much money. Oh, and this time, 4 very loud, very drunk people at the bar, laughing like hyenas and swearing like sailors. Which was not only audible from our seat in the restaurant, but also disturbing. This one is a hard pass...

This place used to have the best pizza in town. included pics of the pizza we ordered with Italian beef, garlic, and pepperoncini, and the other is a pepperoni pizza we didn't even order We drifted away from them when the quality started slipping. Toight we ordered from them for the first time since before the pandemic. Our order arrived with the wrong pizza and missing an appetizer. I called back and they did try to make it right by sending their driver back with the right pizza and the missing appetizer. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't fully cooked. The crust was visably undercooked and we could see after taking a bite the center of the dough was still a bit raw. The pizza was loaded, I mean loaded with cheese, but very little toppings. I'm sad because I used to really like Aurelios. Hopefully this was just a bad night or bad timing? We are going to throw our order and the extra pizza away because the one pizza is just not edible really, and we didn't order the other. I'll take another break from Aurelios until I'm brave enough to give it...

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received last night at this restaurant. We placed an order via online that took TWO HOURS to get to a place that's less then 10 mins away. The first time we called we where told that the drivers car broke down and was picked up by another driver. Second time we where just hung up on. Third time when we FINALLY got to talk to a manager we didn't even get apologized to we just kept getting the run around. When asked for a refund we where told that is had to be approved by the owner, im sorry your the manager.. you can comp someone's meal. The order also was wrong, we still didn't get apologized to, we got excuses. Lady worte the ticket wring?! The only good thing was the delivery driver, HE was the only one we got an apology from, and he had nothing to do with it. GET...
