To add to the last review, the owner failed to give any details prior to the rental . He agreed to let us come in early with an extra fee. I did not go in there expecting accommodations. The business is poorly ran and the owner is not taking responsibility. I did not mess up any invitations. When booking the venue no details were given. Anyone who has had parties including myself over the last 30+ years shouldn’t have to worry about not bringing in drinks or waiting on someone to clean a floor which by the way was done with the swiffer and was not completely done which I didn’t care about to begin with. Also, The owner did receive my messenger message because it showed that he seen it just after 11 AM and he chose not to answer many phone calls. A venue is supposed to be accommodating and offer such packages. He did not do me a favor. In fact between the drinks of not being able to bring in waters or anything for my event should have been detailed at booking. The cleaner guy was chilling with his child inside the venue and it was not his fault but he was directed at such to lock the door. I don’t have to steal time I have money to pay for my event and as you are paying for the time I also suggested to change my time. And to top it off he had a ring doorbell set up which let me know that he DID know we were outside waiting in the heat and he made a phone call to his bartender during my event to make two children get away from a window. I made no special requests and was very transparent myself and even arrived in person to try to figure this out. Poor communication was the culprit. I will take full responsibility for anything I have done however you will get nowhere in this small town by acting the way you do. The problem is we did make an agreement and you didn’t fulfill your end which made for a stressful event. I could go on about miscommunication but there is another key point. Who has to take out their own garbage for the event when they rent something? Thank God I had some men to help me but my pregnant daughter sure in the hell wasn’t going to empty four big bags of garbage let alone myself. The bartender was tipped very well as she was just doing her job. And it seems that none of the employees are allowed to do anything even check you out at the end until they hear from the owner. Very strange and very weird. I could’ve went to the Legion or the Moose and there wouldn’t have been one single issue because the only thing they offered was space and tables oh yeah and lemonade and water. So make sure that you know who you’re dealing with because if you see the response to my daughters review he obviously had prior thoughts of...

I will never plan an event here or recommend this venue. We hosted my sister’s baby shower here today. We had planned to arrive 1 hour prior to the event to set up, for an additional fee that was scheduled in advance. Cleaning person would not let us in at 11 because “the last time he did this he got in trouble with the owner”. We called and messaged the owner Steve over 10 times, with no response. We had mutual connections try to get ahold of him as well with no luck. We finally convinced the cleaning person to let us in at 11:30. Our event was not setup or ready when the guests arrived. At about 1pm Steve finally got back to us via Facebook messenger, never a returned phone call. This issue caused our event to be extremely stressful. This type of venue should be much more organized as people are relying on and paying for it. We did appreciate our bartender, she was extremely nice!

EDIT: I am editing this review to respond to the owners comment. Yes, invitations were sent out for the event to start at noon. We would have gladly reached out to all of our guests to change the start time to 1. However, the owner Steve AGREED to let us in at 11 and we agreed to pay the extra $30, so we left the event start time at 12. So blaming us because he was unprofessional and unorganized is again a reason why I won’t recommend this place. I understand mistakes happen, but the way the owner handled this situation is the main reason for my review. Just based on his response should be very clear how he does business. We tried to take this up with the business before I decided to leave a review. I called several times and sent a Facebook message. No response until I left this review. We were let inside 30 minutes late after having to haggle and ultimately call the bartender who thankfully gave us the okay to go in. Accepting miscommunication on their end and professionalism would have resolved this issue. Had my 2 year old's birthday party here and had an amazing time!! It was the perfect amount of space for my family's needs. Steve had met with us to go over everything and answered all our questions ahead of time so we had a seamless easy party when we got there. We even had the drink option that we would only pay for sodas and anyone who wanted alcohol had to pay on their own accord. We got so many compliments from our guests about how nice the place was. They even said they'd want to have future events there as well. Our bartender Nicki was also very helpful and kind and made sure we knew how to close out our party properly. Having a party in the winter isn't the easiest and it was the hardest thing to find an affordable venue but with Let's Party's help we had an amazing time and was within our budget. We would definitely have more events here...
