Strum's BBQ — Restaurant in Morris

I was able to visit this bbq place once before they moved locations. So when they finally reopened, I had to give them a try. It is a smaller dine in place but doesn't feel crowded. You place your order at the front counter, and food is brought out to you. They have a small and simple menu. Honestly, that's more than okay because everything there tasted fantastic. It is a little bit more on the pricey side but given the cost of everything right now that's understandable. There is a small amount of good places to eat in Morris and even fewer worth spending the extra money on, and this by far is worth every penny. I got the pulled chicken sandwich with a Texas twinkie and my wife got a pull pork sandwich with the potato salad. It was so good I got up and got more food. Round 2 was the smoked ribeye and honestly I could eat that everyday and be happy. Overall this will mostly likely be a new staple in our rotation of places to eat. I hope they continue to grow...

Accidentally found this place while walking around, and what a find this is! I almost don't want to leave a review so I can keep this a secret to myself! This place is phenomenal. If you have passed this place before, stop, go in, you won't regret it. Good prices, great food, great people. What more could you ask for? We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, potato salad, beans with brisket, and a Texas Twinkie (yes, you read that right). Everything we got was delicious and flavorful. Strum's offers delicious food at a fair price. While the menu is small, it contains all the classic offerings one would expect from a quality barbecue establishment. The consistent line out the door during lunchtime is a testament to its status as a local favorite. Despite the crowd, the staff is fast and efficient at fulfilling orders.

​I ordered the brisket and was initially surprised that it was not served in a single slice. However, the exceptional flavor of the meat more than compensated for this. The side dishes were just as impressive as the main course; both the potato salad and the baked beans were outstanding.
