Well if your dog doesn't like getting their nails done then don't bring them here! I called twice in advance to schedule an appointment for two dogs who I mentioned were reactive but they come in muzzled and sedated. Yasmine went to go take one of the dogs first (he does not like people but does fine with his nails) which i mentioned and as soon as he barked at her I handed her the leash and she basically dragged him back there. Then I asked if she wanted me to go back there because he clearly wasn't feeling it and she said nope i'll call you if I need help. Well my dog screamed in the back for 10 minutes and managed to get his muzzle off and then they finally called me back there when it all could've been prevented if they had let me go back there. She asked me "does he always act like this" I said no not with his nails," to which she immediately tried to defend herself and say something along the lines of "well it's wasn't the nails that was the problem he just didn't like me" Which could've once again all been prevented. Then my second dog who does very bad with his nails went back and I told them I have to go back there with him.I explained that i'm not sure what his old owners did, but he doesn't like getting his nails done at all. They brought me back there and the whole time she was trying to rush thru the nail trim, didn't try to talk or calm him down at all with me, was physically hesitant to even do his nails to begin with (made him more anxious) and then after he started bleeding on one of his front paws she said she would not continue with the back and that it's best for me to bring him to the vet to get his nails done. Might be a good place if ur dog behaves well but if your struggling to find a place for your pups that don't like getting their nails done than this is...
Read moreI brought my recently adopted kitty into Cat and Hound Market for a bathing and nail trimming session, upon being warm and inviting the staff was extremely knowledgeable in pet behavior and nutrition. I noticed the facility houses many of the top tier quality foods for both canine and feline family members. I'm incredibly satisfied in the services provided, as kitty was fully dried, with nails being trimmed to an appropriate length (no over trimming/pain/or discomfort here!) My little fur baby was extremely calm and comfortable upon pickup, which only reassured me that she was left in caring and capable hands. Cat and Hound Market wasn't only a place to get great services, foods, toys, any many other accessories, but a place where my Layla can make new friends which...
Read moreHighly recommend! I very easily made a grooming appointment for my 2.5 year old kitty and they texted me with questions. I got her in within just a few days. On the day of her appointment they explained how the whole process goes and it made me very comfortable. They are very educated individuals there and truly know what they are doing. They even offered my pretty girl a treat while waiting. I felt so comfortable leaving and I even got an update text! I had many questions and they were perfect at answering. They truly have wonderful compassion for the animals and their customers. They assisted me in buying a proper brush for my kitty and would give me a call when it comes in. They are all very personable and kind. Very happy...
